I hear this song and it makes me think about myself and how I left my grandma's on bad terms cuz I was drinking too much and she was disappointed in me. Didn't talk to her for 4 years and she's gone now. And I didn't get to tell her sorry our how much I loved her anything. I regret some of the decisions I made, but can't go back. Now I've been sober from drinking since June of 2015. Still trying to make up for things I did and things I didn't do. But this song really hits ya where it hurts and I love it. You can see the sadness and the passion in his eyes from missing his mama. And trying to figure the urge to go back to the bottle. Stay strong Jacob you have a lot of people behind you. God is good. Sometimes I Pray! Amazing song! I remember laying on the street in San Pedro California, I had just been shot in both lungs my liver
My left shoulder and my groin. I remember after the attempted robbery and the altercation.,laying down on someone's porch entry.,I,looked up and said lord, if you are really there. Now would be a good time to come down and save my dumb ads. Please don't let me die like a dog in,the street under a different identity.. The good lord sent his first team.,former paramedics from,The Viet Nam War Era. Then I get to San Pedro Peninsula. Hospital. The guy from the business office comes and says, He doesn't have Insurance. Take him to County! As rhey were rolling me out to the ambulance to do that. I prayed. Lord you know my needs! All of a sudden a Dr.,appears with a white coat and stethoscope. He stopped the stretcher. Put his hand on my right shoulder. He said Son how are you doing. I said better now. I prayed and here you are. I told him, I'm cold as Ice! I have no blood left in me. I won't make it too County. He told the staff! This is my patient,he is not leaving this room. I felt the Needle Penetrate my heart less than 2 minutes later.
It had quit beating. That man saved my life. I am now, 62 years old. I'm still praying! Not sometimes. All the time! God does answer prayers.
