I agree, Luke Bryans version is better. And he does deserve more credit for writing this. ALL songwriters deserve more credit for what theyve done. My father is one so i would know how they get treated. But honestly, if Luke didnt become famous and start doing his own music, would anybody care that he wrote it? No, and its a shame! Currington does a much better job with pauses between words, emphasis on phrases and pronouncing. That is why his version is so strong. Its not just what it says,........ but the emotion and feeling he puts into it with ---careful timing--- with his voice. That is an important plus. Maybe that is why it was released with Currington doing the singing.
