Sam is Great !  Discovered her watching the memorial 'Concert for George [Harrison]'.  Absolutely stole the show !  Didn't realize what magnificence I was seeing until about a third of the way into the song 'Horse to the Water'.  Then it hit me... "why haven't I heard of this singer before?".  Started looking around for videos and found all sorts of gems like this one.  Some are a little weak in the video production, but her voice shines through all that.   If I wasn't already married, I think I would propose to Sam online !

That's the first time I heard her sing. I was in another room when she came on, and was totally turned on to her singing (I thought she was black). The girl's an amazing singer. She should be famous.

This lady can definitely sing. If you like this, do yourselves a favour and watch her on "Concert for George" (George Harrison tribute concert held in the Royal Albert Hall in 2002). She'll blow your socks off!

Interestingly, in the early 60's The Beatles toured the UK with her old man. He headlined and they opened! Out of respect he was allowed to close the tribute concert with a solo of "I'll see you in my dreams". Great, great concert.

@madrugada45 She's British her dad is Joe Brown who in the 60's had a band Joe Brown and the a Bruvvers he's still going stong.

@rmgj Please note I refer to her artisic qualities, meine liebe ist ARTISTIC, I did not know her, I did not know she is the blonde who sang in the "Pulse" the album by pink floyd, until I bought the "Concert for George" and she made this stunning apearance singing "You can take a horse to the river", it all got confusing for she has appeared blonde and then dark haired, similar comments I've written for Cecilia Bartoli, who is not as pretty, but sings like an angel.

Daughter of Joe Brown (and the Bruvvers) - an early 'rock and roll'(?) group in the 60's. I've seen them both, not at the same time unfortunately, but they do occasional gigs together. He's also worth seeing
