I was just watching the Maze Runner movie. I've never read the Unbearable Lightness of Being book, but while watching the third MR film (the Death Cure) I suddenly realized that the main couple are "Theresa and Thomas" and it sounded so very familiar...it reminded me only of this song. From what I can find, the author didn't intentionally pair those two names (he's named after Edison, she after Mother Teresa in the book) in order to make a reference to that novel. Thought that doesn't necessarily mean the intent wasn't there. Love to you all x

I remember the first time my college gf and I listened to this song while laying on the floor of my studio apartment in San Francisco. We loved each other so fucking much but just couldn't get it right together. We had been broken up for like a month the night she came over and we listened to this song. From that point forward we would often reference how much we wished we could just sail away and be happy together forever. It took me years to get over her. She is married now and we still talk every couple of months. I've yet to find someone I love as much as her.
