This band's particular brand of neo-psychedelia has been reformulated by many newer bands and none have delivered as exceptionally as they have. Anton Newcombe has an impeccable talent for music. He can practically range from 60's psychedelic and pop to 80's influenced shoegaze to neo-psychedelia. He has a diverse taste in music and that's what makes this band wonderful.

I was too busy studying music appreciation in the 90s at University to listen to all indie music. This band receives my approbation. I admire their combination of what appears to be improvisation, largo guitar playing and 1960s drug induced psychedelia. Too cool!

When I listen to this song I feel like I'm falling through the rain clouds of an overcast day with raindrops all around me, and they're falling right alongside me. As I'm just kind of tumbling down I'm reaching out to whoever is the object of my affection at the time, and they sit high in the clouds. And I just fall and fall until finally, in the reprise at the end, the music propels me right back up, shooting through the rain and clouds and out to I don't even know where...just away.

That's funny, I've never tried drugs (except alcohol) and I've loved this band from the minute I heard their song "Straight Up and Down" in the opening credits of Boardwalk Empire.
