Brett Dennen IS AN AMAZING ROLE MODEL! He is involved with too many organizations to be mentioned, 1 being the Mosaic Project for mentoring kids!! I attended an event and he does magical and amazing self esteem building with these kids! I discovered him at the High Sierra concert in Quincy, CA....about 12-13 years ago! Yes, perhaps a touch of Petty in this song but he has a style all his own which is very unique!! I love all the positive comments here and he deserves them all!!

Saw him on "Live from Daryl's house", or whatever the show is called on Palladia with Daryl Hall. Say what you will about this kid's appearance, voice or music, but he is one talented dude. Unbelievable vocal melodies deep from his soul, but from watching that tv show, it was easy to see that he is hurting deep inside and has some animosity built up. I'd buy some of his tracks and it's not even my cup of earl grey

He is like the tree-hugger dude I could rest my soul with. I am the epitome of the "wild child" and my family will attest as such. Brett is like the John Denver of the 2000's with out the gushy, heartsy fartsy stuff.

It is the right way to learn to take care of yourself. Keep doing that until you know it by heart.
