Brenda Lee - I Think I Love You Again Lyrics

We go out skating, on ice slowly melting in
Someday I think we're gonna drown
You're your own person, just the same way that I am
So sometimes we get each other down
Then I replace you, with a breaking body
A pretty face, but no mind
And I found feeling coming back to me
And I think I love again

Dancing together on thin lines of parting
Weighing the future all alone
One girl I'm where is forever
Is it somewhere in the sky
Or just a place, you call home

Sometimes while smiling
In the middle of the night child
As I taste this stranger's kiss
Oh, I miss you baby
Feel it coming back to me
And I found feeling coming back to me
And I think, I love you again
Baby, I know I love you again

Sometimes while smiling
In the middle of the night chat
As I keep this stranger's kiss
I miss you baby

Feel it coming back to me
And I think, I think I love you again
I think, I love, I love you again
Baby, I think, I think I love you again
Don't you know I love I know love you again

Is there any way to get the powers-that-be to release Brenda Lee's several unreleased sides for MCA and Elektra Records? She cut an LP's worth of material with producer Jerry Crutchfield for MCA, and in 1978, she recorded an LP in Muscle Shoals, for Elektra. Do you know if we will ever be able to hear any of that material? Thanks.

Love this song from Little Miss Dynamite. She sings the soundtrack of my life, and every recording she ever made at the Bradley Barn was absolute perfection. You just can't do it any better than those sessions. Thrilled to have met Brenda at the old Little Opry, now gone in Nashville, Indiana. What a sweet and talented lady! ❤️

M,r. C, I think Brenda was able to eventually get what was due to her eventually. Sad that Brenda had to file suit against Decca (MCA) to get what was hers' to begin with. A settlement was reached with both parties agreeing to not disclose anything about the terms of the settlement.

Hey, views are picking up a bit. 😊 Maybe someday I can remove the "unknown" from the title. I've always admired the lyric "Wondering where, is forever; Is it somewhere in the sky?; Or just a place, you call home". In other words, when we are together, it's not heaven (somewhere in the sky), it's just routine (a place you call home).

    Mostly Brenda it’s a favorite ✌🏻

Está mujer canta hermoso, ella pertenece a una generación de grandes artistas, desde niña que me gusta,y gracias al internet puedo verla y escucharla,ya que antes no se podía

The last 30 seconds are classic Brenda. She locks onto the groove, works it over, and by the finish the groove knew it had been worked!

    just perfect

Absolutely one of the best Brenda Lee recordings ever! Glad to know so many others feel the same way. Find the actual recording versus the live performance and check it out!!

Not sure what you are saying. Which is better? This live version or the recording? The thing that is missing is a re-master of Memphis Portrait.

    N.... F....

The recording is better. Even more soulful! A re-master of Memphis Portrait would be wonderful.

I like the live vocal better, but prefer the smaller studio band. This video, BTW, has about 10x the views of the audio versions.

There are a few female singers whom I praise and enjoy listening to, however, Brenda Lee is my all time favorite female singer. And this has been going on since the sixties!

Este tema está sólo en un compilado argentino de sus mejores temas y grandes éxitos.

Soy un admirador de Brenda desde 1964.

That kind of beauty, well it's just not fair, but I wouldn't have it any other way.💞

@Bill Bright Some of Brenda's various descriptions of herself: "short and stumpy", "chubby", "Never very glamorous"

    Complexion, perfect, check
    Teeth, perfect, check
    Eyes, perfect, check
    Hair, perfect, check = 💞beautiful to me💞
    Figure, perfect, check
    Voice, perfect, check
    Mind, perfect, check

@Bill Bright I think much credit goes to Dub Albritten, her manager. He always wanted a classy look for the prodigy and shunned any "sex appeal" type marketing strategy. It's used with almost every other female entertainer if you think about it. Dub died the year after this was filmed, but Brenda followed much of what he taught her about show biz the rest of her career.

    I'm gone with the wind,
but what a way to go!
    Thanks Bren!

I was a kid. Saw her performance in Toronto Royal York in my early 20's. ..thanks BL for making me feel something inside good for a change : -)

Just like Hurricane Brenda, her beauty blows me away!

  19. S.... ....

not unknown to the many brenda lee fans who recognize this gem.

    S.... ....

True, but look at the view count as the video approaches 5 years old in January. The general public still doesn't know it.

  20. S.... ....

from the classic lp 'memphis portrait'---her best lp.should have gotten more airplay.the undisputed international queen of rock'n'roll

  21. D.... M....

Her lyrics in this beautiful recording are more intelligent than most
    songs today..

  22. M.... L....

    just a masterpiece......no not a hit...but a favorite of mine

  23. S.... R....

Thanks for uploading this The Great Brenda Lee..Her voice is her own. Not like today's singers. She the one and only..

  24. D.... M....

This is one of the great Brenda Lee's most beautiful songs. I do wish she would record a few more albums. Thatr cvoicxe is incredible!!!!!!

  25. G.... G....

This is one of her greatest songs. This recording is only found on the Memphis Portrait album. And it is not on any compilation of her hits. Why this recording was only #37 is one of the great mysteries of music history.

  26. J.... D....

She is a great vocalist and performer. One of the very best.

  27. D.... S....

This single from the great Brenda Lee reached #97 Pop, #37 AC in Billboard in 1970.

  28. S.... ....
