This song was already precious to me, but the video's relation to it is just perfect.. it does not invade the art of the song, nor does it try to push a certain interpretation, but nonetheless evokes some strong themes. The imagery made me think of children with injuries or illness, they see the world through a lens of imagination and optimistic wonder and must try to understand the darkness around them. It really resonates with the balance of bittersweet beauty and nocturnal sadness present in 'walking with a killer' and many other songs by the breeders. Maybe this 'killer' is illness? Idk, thats just one interpretation. But to the artist (even though they wont know) congrats on this video, it really is beautiful.

The arrangement and especially the guitar work of this song is just amazing. The whole album takes the band to a next level - where the shadows are longer and echos are weird and familiar at the same time.

Most artists lose a step or two as they age...no signs of that from Miss Deal.

I can't say it is exactly what I expected to hear from a new Breeders record, but I'm not displeased. It comes across as a sort of Mad Lucas revenge track. I can definitely hear a lot of Pod in the song though. There was a distinct moment where I thought I was listening to a rehash of Doe.

I don't much like the video but I think All Nerve is the best thing Kim did since Surfer Rosa. And together with it one of my top 10 albums in the history of rock. I can listen (and do) the whole thing in loop all day.
