I'm so confused how this wasn't a successful album. She was AMAZING! Her vocals give me chills. I wish she would bring some throw back kind of beat in her new album and sound like she was a teen again, but I know that will never happen because Tamar said she hated her first album because "I just wasn't me, and I had no control over my album" and I can understand that because she's a religious person and was singing about making love, yes, but also about hoeing around, being a gold digger and more bad stuff, and she's a soulful, loving type of singer

I'm glad I brought her first album back in 1999. I still play that CD it is a classic to me I understand she didn't like the album either I thought it was amazing.

I don't know why nobody bought this back in the day! This is a good album, I know that I was born the same year that this album came out but I mean like this is good! I mean like foreal! Tamar needs to do a Throwback Tour! And needs to sing these songs! I would definitely come to that!

I brought it, I was living in Spain when I brought the album in 1999. it's sad US doesn't know good music I'm glad I grew up mostly overseas and started buying albums in 95 in Japan.
