I heard this today and the lyrics were so compelling I found it after searching for just a couple of minutes. The Lyrics are poetry and I cannot believe how relevant this song is for me right now. There is something haunting, timeless yet contemporary to this sound. The war drums taps in the back, to the breathy desperation rolls over me like a long lost home.

A friend just turned me onto Brandi. She said she took her 10 year old niece to a show and before the show said niece had a favorite song she wanted to hear. So she Facebooked her fan page and said she really wanted to hear that song. Not only did Brandi play it, she said before playing that it was for a special fan request. Now that is a beautiful artist if I ever saw one.

Thanks for this post.  This is the true speed of the song as it is on the album. Though it's only my opinion and it may be right or wrong, this track is immensely more powerful when played at this speed, (the correct speed.)  Bravo.
