A year ago my best friend moved to Australia (I'm in England) and he didn't say goodbye to anyone, my friends have a way to contact him while I'm here missing him crying myself to sleep every night while they talk to him and THEY miss him. He said he would come and visit, but that's a lie. A year has passed and hasn't talked to anyone asking about me or anything, I don't know if he remembers me. I've talked to my parents about it but they can't do anything, can they. It's just my feelings.

In 2008 I went through a bad divorce. My best friend Donnie Mowbrey was a rock solid shoulder for me to lean on while going through this. He had great insight, very supportive, perfect advice. I could talk to him about anything. A few months later we lost him from complications following a surgery he had. Not a day goes by without me thinking about him in some way or another. As sad as this song makes me feel it also makes me remember him and the times we had, thus making me happy. I miss my brother, but I know we'll be reunited again one day. Jaret, thank you for putting to words your experience, stuff like this really can touch a lot of people in a lot of ways. BFSROX!

It's been a year since I've been seriously suicidal. It was just before Christmas. I was walking the town alone in the middle of the night. Too numb to cry, just pacing and hyperventilating. I walked to the closest main road.. Because the speed limit there was 45mph. I called the one person I thought I could count on. She knew what was going on and she intentionally ignored my calls... It took everything I had in me to stop myself from laying down in traffic. I still don't know why I didn't.
Well... It's a year later and all I've learned is that you can't count on anybody. You have to be your own reasons. Been living day to day and nothing is getting any better.

Long ago, there was a guy named Mark Quinlan. Mark was my greatest friend; the dude was responsible for turning me from a shy and timid kid to who I am today. He was a guy who either made you happy or crabby; either you loved him or hated him. He listened to Green Day and Bullets for my Valentine, loved shows like Scrubs and Family Guy, and drank gallons of Monster and Mountain Dew like there were a second blood supply.
The last I ever saw of Mark was on August 18, 2010 when I had to leave to go to college in another state. He hugged me, we cried, and I made my journey there. That was the last time I ever saw him again, because on October 16, 2010, after dropping off his girlfriend on a rainy morning, Mark hydroplaned off the road and crashed into a tree; it killed him instantly at age 18. Although my entire world came crashing down, I've managed to build it back up. His last words were "Goodbye, my bestest bud; hit me up the next time we meet, and may God bless us both!"
Goodbye, Mark. I'll see you someday in Heaven again.

He got me out of situations with the Bullies, picked me up when I was down, and was my only friend for the longest time. He always brings himself down saying how was never good enough or why I hung out with him or what good was he/what help am I, But in truth If it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be alive right now. When I moved to another state, mainly because I had gotten a job offer for a pharmaceutical position in a big hospital but also because the town was going on a downhill slope, he was the one who was really there. Everyone else was just there for a bit of gossip; where are you going, are you sad, what is it like, blah blah blah nobody really cared. He was the only one who had concern. He came the day before I left and basically brought a party to my house and helped me load the truck. I told him everything then, how he saved me and how much he meant to me. He was to me at the time, but thankfully we still keep in touch

She had BPD, and she being bullied quite badly for a lot of confusing reasons. I knew it was pushing her close to the edge, so I often tried to make her happy as it distracted her from self harming and suicidal thoughts. But... yeah.
The last time she ever spoke to me was through Facebook. She didn't say her usual "Bye" before she went offline, so I should've been suspicious. Unfortunately, I was half asleep.

Everyone else is sharing so idk how to start this (takes deep breath) this song resonates with me because well I'm suicidal and even attempted to end it all one day not too long ago. It didn't work out obviously given this post but yeah kinda in a vicious cycle of self-loathing like dissecting myself in every mirror i see or in every thought that passes through my head. When your own brain creates a living hell for you each and every day it just i can't put it into words. Like going to sleep every night and praying with every fiber of your being that you won't wake up the next day its just overwhelming. But yeah that's my day to day idk what i really expected to get from this maybe vent some? but just thought i'd share something like everyone else hope you guys lead amazing lives and can make your wishes come true.

With all these sad stories, I thought I would share mine. I'm suicidal and have a major case of anxiety. I was thinking of ending it all before I went to a BFS concert. I had met the guys backstage and Jaret saw the scars on my arms. She gently grabbed my arm, placed a kiss on it and said 'Don't do this ever again, okay? I don't want to see or hear anyone that's a fan of us end it all. Promise you won't.' and I promised and hugged him as tight as I possibly could. This man has saved my life too many times.

This song remind me of my older brother, He was shot a year ago, two weeks after my 16th bday. Its almost been two years, Aug 6th. He was my best friend and my role model. He was homophobic but still accepted my sexualality.
