I've been listening to Stage for 40 years, and after checking on youtube a few years ago I thought no footage of these concerts existed. Seeing these videos is like a dream come true. Thank you for posting them. (If I understand correctly you have synced footage to the actual album tracks, is that right?)

*balikpapan* Hi, thanks for commenting. Yes, that's right - in the absence of actual videos of the stage performances, I sync the best footage I can find to the album tracks. It's a difficult process and they only 90% work IMO. I'll most likely end up doing every track on the album, if decent footage can be got.

Agree, this is very Talking Heads...not entirely surprising however, considering the Eno collaboration with both.

Adrian Belew is on guitar (with the shades), T Heads guitarist for their classic Remain in Light period...he also worked with Zappa, and King Crimson...and Tom Tom Club! Guitar Duderino Supremo

Absolutely! I've seen Bowie about 6 times, and this concert was the best. Went to all 3 shows in a row, Chicago, 1978.
