Boston - I Think I Like It Lyrics

Somethin' changin' for me inside
Took a long time
Now there's nothin' for me to hide
I say what's on my mind
Changes, makin' me see the light
I finally see wrong from right
Now I can see every sign

Oooh, I think I like it
I think I like what I'm feelin'
Even though it's such a surprise
But you know
Oooh, I think I really like it
I think I like what I feel
And changes really open your eyes

Oh, look at the world we make
What have we begun?
People livin' for what they take
All for number one
Changes makin' me see the light
I finally see wrong from right
Now that it's all said and done

Oooh, I think I like it
I think I like what I'm feelin'
Even though it's such a surprise
But you know
Oooh, I think I really like it
I think I like what I feel
And changes really open your eyes

Oh doesn't love say enough
When you realize?
People try to come on so tough
All to fantasize
Changes takin' me through the night
I finally see the light
I've opened my eyes
Those changes can open your eyes

Boston I Think I Like It Comments

Boston is HISTORY! When I purchased the 4th album and noticed that they were P.E.T.A. supporters I immediately returned the CD to the music store. Even though Brad had stopped singing for Boston it was the end of an era, the end of Boston. Now they are so convoluted it's not even worth looking in their direction. If you use your platform for anti-meat, fur politics or religion then they are dead to me. This was their last album for them as far as I am concerned!

@ColdFrixion I would classify it more as sociological. Either way, I will not support a group when their sociological or ideological views don't mesh with mine. I'm pretty sure that their success reflects in their revenues. As I said Boston is history.

    M.... M....

@Micah McGillicuddy Tom Scholz's ideological, sociological, and political beliefs / opinions are irrelevant to me and have absolutely no impact on my opinion of the music. None. Zero. Zilch.

    M.... M....

@ColdFrixion Yeah, we got that! I was just expressing MY opinion. There is no right or wrong here. I believe that is what this comment section is for.

    M.... M....

@Micah McGillicuddy And I got that you don't support Boston due to their aforementioned views the first time you said it. I was merely expressing my opinion, as well.

    M.... M....

    @ColdFrixion Oh, good.

  2. D.... V....

A great song a great CD Brad Delp had a great voice for rock music

  3. S.... H....

Everybody has a favorite from every album. This is my favorite Third Stage song. Favorite Boston album song is Hitch a Ride and favorite DLB song is Don't Be Afraid. Boston has always been my favorite rock band. My third biggest life regret is never having seen them in concert. What must it have been like to be friends with Brad Delp? Love watching the concert vids of him going down the front row line slapping hands with his fans. Watch his body language . He genuinely loved Boston/Delp fans. The feeling was/is mutual.

  5. E.... M....

    24 assholes

  6. J.... ....

I loved the whole "Third Stage" album, but this song is still under rated. Boston certainly knew how to craft great rock albums.

  7. T.... G....

1986... I was working for Walmart,in electronics, before the store opened,I put this tape in a high dollar pioneer component system and we used to crank this whole tape every morning before the store opened.Long story short? That pioneer system blew the speakers eventually....oh well! The 80’s rocked! 🤘

  8. T.... G....

    Damn killer reverb on this!👍

  9. P.... ....

Gary Pihl came in to help out with the dual guitar solo on this track and then never left

  10. J.... B....

music is my love in that i'd never know a woman. God too.

  11. b.... h....

  14. D.... H....

    Awesome song

  15. T.... T....

    Chunka Chunka

  16. S.... B....

Remember when I purchased the cassette at Peaches in Boca Raton. Boston was playing every minute of the day down in south Florida

    S.... B....

and also every hour here in VA. We're still nuts for Boston up in here

    S.... B....

This song is my traveling song when I am doing 90 over 7 mile bridge heading to key West

  17. G.... 6....

The first time I heard this played on the radio, I liked it. Today, I think I like it even more

  18. K.... S....

Every voice you hear is Brad's - First 3 albums are this way as well! Simply incedible!!

  19. A.... L....

    sweeeet

  20. R.... E....

    i don't like it,,i love it,,

  21. r.... h....

i dont think 15 black afro-can's are going to like it

  22. H.... B....

    BEST GUITAR SOLO!!!!!!!!!!

  23. R.... A....

    Snare sounds terrible still

  24. j.... P....

    Never i like it.
For me first two album are the top of creativity.
    Here boston lost it.

    j.... P....

Well, that's just like, you know, your *opinion,* man.

  25. K.... B....

the band that introduced me to music so thank you Boston and brad

  26. D.... L....

Can listen to the WHOLE CD, everyday.

  27. B.... A....

Love the song but doesn't anyone hear the part that sounds like Journey's "Anyway You Want It"?

    B.... A....

No. What part would that be?

    B.... A....

Very much! Especially the part in the middle of the verse. Good catch.

  28. T.... T....

No one ever mentions the drums.. so good in so many of their songs.

    T.... T....

it's kinda unbalanced in this one, sadly. the kick and snare are buried behind fx and overcompression, while the toms are extra hot.

  29. p.... 6....

uuuu, I think I really like it

  30. O.... ....

In the words my late father, Boston is the best sounding band of all time. This song is such a feel-good experience

  31. P.... C....

    Damn nice

  32. k.... w....

me like it i really doooo

  33. T.... L....

Bostons music is so uplifting. Feel good tunes for an otherwise insane world.

    T.... L....

Boston definitely has some of the best music. RIP Brad.

  34. M.... M....

TS is quite underrated as a lead guitarer.

    M.... M....

As 'genius' is the word I hear most often how is this underrated?

    M.... M....

    *guitarist

    M.... M....

He was only a keyboardist before Barry Goudreau taught him guitar.

  35. D.... C....

    I KNOW I LIKE IT!

  36. D.... C....

    RIP BRAD

  37. M.... C....

Brad could brighten the day of millions of souls with just his voice, even in the worst of times... What an amazing gift. Thank you Brad !!

    M.... C....

    Mark Colburn VERY TRUE!

  38. L.... S....

This album was so much more mature than the first two, it still is and remains my favorite

    L.... S....

That's the key to greatness for me: few bands can followup with something bigger than what they started with.

    L.... S....

This is the one album I come back to the most out of their albums. Just something about this record. And of course the last song is one of the best ballads ever made.

    L.... S....

    Delusional

  39. O.... T....

    I like it, too.

  40. b.... b....

    The almighty BOSTON

  41. J.... R....

    This is an underrated song

    J.... R....

Big-time. This song has a very nicely subdued vocal from Brad Delp and, I think, some of the best guitar work from Tom Scholz.

    J.... R....

Your underrated , we all love it ....

  42. M.... ....

3 people don't think they like it...

  43. W.... ....

Excellent Band ......Excellent Song....This is how music is supposed to sound....Being able to sing along with.....Strum with your fingers ....or play your air guitar...rythm and harmonies....no bass rattling, ear jarring garbage music with no sense of rhythm.....bring back the good bands with feel good music.....Thanks for posting. :{ )

  44. c.... ....

got to think we waited for how many years for the next Boston album and we still loved it

  45. T.... R....

    I always like it

  46. H.... B....

    rip Bradley Delp

    H.... B....

One of THE all time great rock voices!

  47. T.... R....

This version is right on A440 instead of A445 like my MCA CD.

    T.... R....

This version is based on the MFSL Ultradisc II CD.

    T.... R....

    Sounds Great!

  48. J.... v....

    I'm sure I like it

  49. T.... T....

I think this LP hit #1 on Billboard exactly 10 years after their first LP hit #1

  50. L.... ....

So was the original board operator asleep at the switch? This is so much better than the original and the levels are improved. I can still hear the problem though. To bad they can't re-record it. Too bad the original was so badly handled because the song is fantastic.

  51. T.... D....

It's always nice to see 0 dislikes on a Boston song. I think I like it.

    T.... D....

Now there's one dislike..............terrible. What kind of person is that? This is my favorite song out of the album.

    T.... D....

As soon as you posted that, you knew what would happen.  GREAT song though!

  52. D.... D....

Such a great feel good heart filled rock n roll tune! Baby! Yeah!

  53. t.... ....

I think I like it...your version that is....

  54. A.... S....

Ohhhh.....look at the world we make......What have we begun

    A.... S....

I think I really like this song.....

  55. D.... ....

I like the original version more. This version sounds quite nice and it is louder, but has lost the depth, separation and air of the original. I find it less natural sounding, more compressed with harsh top eq. The crash cymbals are distracting and not to my liking.

    D.... ....

+DJSur The only changes to this version are EQ oriented. The level was raised by 2dB but not via compression, thus the dynamic range hasn't been compromised. There's no added compression or alteration to the panning / imaging. It's based on the 24K Gold MFSL Ultradisc II version.

    D.... ....

+ColdFrixion Interesting that no compression was used. Thanks, for the info ColdFrixion, and the music :)

  56. S.... ....
