Not too sound passive aggresive here and I do respect everyone' taste in music but I'm really tired of these elitist Dream Theater fans. Pretty much everyone who listens to Dream Theater is alwyas riding either Petrucci or Portnoy's dick. It's kind of annoying. I understood the drum patterns very easily as well thanks to something called "I've played drums for over 9 years now and have a fair understanding of music theory". Dream Theater is not the best band out there.

It starts a new measure on the 1 beat directly after the 4 beat in every single bar of that section... and that's the EXACT reason that it is considered 4/4 lol. I have no clue where you got 3/4 or 5/4 from haha. Like I said, listen and count it out again. It's exactly 12 measures of 4/4 at 145 bpm.
