My childhood days were full of songs by Boney M. If you ask me, I grew up listening to their songs, especially from Boney M Gold. But I came across this song a few years back. Yes, I still find it too.Take The Heat Off Me, the first album by Boney M., is absolute fantastic with another phenomenal song: No Woman No Cry, classic reggae song written and first recorded by Bob Marley and now an evergreen by Boney M. (Sung by Liz Mitchell) too.  And of course Daddy Cool, the worldwide chartbreaker.

Next to the brilliant lead singer Liz Mitchell is Marcia Barrett an amazing singer and her lead vocals on Take The Heat Off Me, the songs Take the Heat Off Me and Lovin' Or Leavin' are very great songs and shows the high quality of the first Boney M. album which was produced by Frank Farian and features the first single of Boney M. ever, Baby Do You Wanna Bump (Part 1&2), and also Got A Man On My Mind  (Reggae song written by Fred Jay and Frank Farian) sung by Liz Mitchell and later arranged as a new ballad version for Daddy Cool musical.   In less countries BabyDo... was replaced by song Help! Help! and to complete the song list of 1976: New York City the b-side of single Sunny and a-side on release in New York .Also New York City is together with solo performing by Liz Mitchell: Perfect (composed by Malcolm Maragon, known from The Les Humphries Singers, together with Liz Mitchell as Liz & Malcolm, Malcolm Looks in the middle of the 70's), as bonus tracks of a Cd remastered version of the album.
