Bones - RaindropTherapy Lyrics

Raindrops, raindrops
Commin down can't stop
Water drippin down my window
Trees shake when the wind blow
Too high I ain't lookin down
She say she too high, she never commin down
I'm just glad she came around
One milion blunts playin in the background
She say she higher that she ever been
I say that's cool, roll another one
My voice loud on the speakerbox
She tell me rewind, turn it up
I never say turn it down, no
We try to sleep, it's 2: 08
And we will got to work tomorrow, work tomorrow
I don't give a fuck I don't work tomorrow

Makes me feel like [?] [x6]

We aren't human [?]

Do we need to wash our hand each time changing oil? I bought 1 package and I got Valor not Valor II

    P.... p....

Thank you for your question! While you don't need to wash our hands each time you move to a different oil, if you or the recipient experience irritation, you should wash off or dilute the oil. We always encourage consumers to follow the label instructions when using oils and to avoid contacting sensitive skin areas such as eyes, ears, and more. Please reach out to [email protected] with any product issues!

Thank you very much. Enjoyed every moment!

    Thanks for watching!

What if the therapist is lactating or breastfeeding?

    V.... W....

Hi Vitra! We would suggest consulting with a doctor who's familiar with essential oils. Everyone is different and reacts to these things differently, so we always suggest starting there!

    V.... W....

@Young Living Essential Oils okay, thank you for the advice

  4. M.... J....

This seems like a really nice technique but some of those oils should always be diluted when used topically whether on children or adults. I also believe oregano is not safe to use on children.

    M.... J....

Hi Mya! Thank you so much for commenting, you're absolutely right - some of these oils should always be diluted. We published a fantastic Best Oils for Massage guide on blog with information on how to dilute and other tips. You can check that out here: https://www.youngliving.com/blog/essential-oils-for-massage/

    Wow, so relaxing.
Honestly I went to a massage therapist and had The Raindrop Technique done. After watching this, I realize it’s not the raindrop technique that she does/did. She made up her own ‘technique’. Which I was extremely disappointed in. She had me choose my own oils for about 30 min then told me that was part of the experience because I was smelling the oils. The other half of the appointment, she put the oils on my back along with a massage oil rub that felt like it was burning my back! She then sat at her desk for 15 min with the oils on my back and that was it. The only contact she had on my back was when she feathers out the oils that only lasted about 15 min. Truly disappointed.

    R.... M....

Raquel, that sounds like such a disappointment! Hopefully you can find a massage therapist that practices the Young Living Raindrop Technique or something similar.

    R.... M....

Young Living Essential Oils - Official thanks. It just sucks because she advertises it as your guys’ Raindrop Technique.

  8. S.... ....

I've been looking for this for so long! Can I still get certified in this?

    S.... ....

@ShakeerMonét There is no certification available for the Raindrop technique, however a license may be required to perform massage in many states. Please check with your state guidelines before performing the Raindrop Technique® on individuals outside your family. For more information about Raindrop visit this page: https://www.youngliving.com/raindrop/
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️❤️❤️

  9. c.... c....

A patch test...for a dozen different oils? That’ll take longer than the actual session.

    c.... c....

@coco cordova 😅agreed, that might take a little while! Maybe just adding a bit of V-6 oil from the beginning just to be on the safe side 😊

  10. B.... 3....

Thank you for the great explanaition. Can I use V-6 oil with each oil? Because maybe some oil can irritate the skin.

    B.... 3....

@BITC 3vino Absolutely! V-6 oil is the perfect way to dilute oils, especially when you are using them directly on the skin. Great suggestion! Thank you for watching ❤️

  11. C.... S....

Do you have to be a LMT to offer this

    C.... S....

@Carolyn Smith Because a license is required to perform massage in many states, please check with your state guidelines before performing the Raindrop Technique® on individuals outside your family. L.... ....

LuaKatrina, where did you receive your directions? This video is a couple of years old, but it is laid out the way Gary taught it for many years. Let us know if you have specific questions and we'll be happy to pass them along to our training and education team.

  28. S.... G....

How often can you perform the raindrop technique on someone?

    S.... G....

Hi Svetlana! Due to its detoxing experience, it can depend on how the person reacts to the Raindrop. If the person finds Raindrop to be relaxing, then whenever they desire to have the experience. If the person wants the Raindrop more for rejuvenation, once a week is a good suggestion.
No matter how often they receive Raindrop it is very important to drink a lot of water.

  29. J.... H....

Hi..how long we have to repeat this rain drop theraphy?? Once a month?

    J.... H....

Hi Jessika! It depends on how the person reacts to the Raindrop. It can be quite detoxing, If a person wants mainly relaxation from the Raindrop, then whenever they desire to have that experience. If they are wanting the Raindrop more for rejuvenation, then even once a week is a good suggestion. No matter how often they receive Raindrop, it is very important to drink a lot of water. Hope this helps!

Would I be able to do a 30-60 Swedish/customized massage first then do this after?

  32. R.... G....

    Gracias, excelente información

  33. S.... P....

Great demonstration. Easy to follow. Love to have one and to become a raindrop specialist

  34. N.... ....

This raindrop technique is suitable for which age group?

    N.... ....

Hi! Young Living does not define an age group for the Raindrop technique, however, precaution should always be taken when applying essential oils to small children. Make sure a carrier oil is used first if ever there is a question. We recommend starting with just one drop of oil. Most young children are too small to perform all of the massage techniques, and often you will only be able to do so much for as long as the child will hold still. If performing the Raindrop on a child, maybe hold them on your lap, rub a generous about of V-6 Oil Complex on first, add one drop of oil, and do the light feathering and fanning touch. Never leave a small child unattended if you are using a massage table. Hope this helps!

    N.... ....

Young Living Essential Oils - Official there are additional questions, if you are available to answer, I am curious of the answers.

  35. N.... ....

What happens when we don't have all the raindrop essential oils? Like for example, i don't have valor II and cypress, can I do the raindrop technique using the rest of the oils instead?

    N.... ....

If you don't have Valor II, you can use Valor, Frankincense, Harmony, Black or Blue Spruce; even lavender will work. Yes, you can leave out the cypress if you don't have it.

  36. L.... H....

When doing the roll and release- I notice that the oils are in the hand that supports the foot and that the oil on the fingers that actually are doing the massage are at the tips, but the tips don't actually touch the client's skin much; it's more of the nails- so how are the oils actually benefiting the client? Thanks

    L.... H....

    Wasting the oils😭😭😭

  37. L.... I....

Any LMT's use this technique but use the normal strokes of massage? Curious about alignment with the hands and fingers, even though this is gentle and lighter, can you go deeper if the client wishes. Would love to hear other MT's experience with their clients.

    M.... G....

in my experience and to my knowledge, you dont need to go any deeper as this modality is all about the oils, not the massage really. The massage part is to stimulate the nerves and open up/loosen the tissue around the spinal cord. Going deeper or using more pressure is not necessary. My clients love it without the extra work for us and Im a "heavy handed mt"

    M.... G....

how did you memorize the sequence? did either play the sequence in headphones?

  41. J.... G....

Raindrop technique is my favorite modality to do and teach as a massage therapist. Best technique out there.

    J.... G....

Hi Jerri. I am a LMT and looking at adding this as a modality to my practice. How do you feel about using this technique and adding your own techniques, like swedish strokes, to this style? Do you make it your own or for it to be effective do you need to follow the steps exactly. I'm also curious as the techniques aren't hand friendly for longevity.

    J.... G....

Hi Molly, I personally stay true to the protocol for Raindrop, I've taken many classes on it and teach it as well. I've been doing it since 1999 so I guess I'm used to the strokes. I emphasize
to my students that the oils do the work and when it comes to the strokes the "Roll and Relax" and feathering techniques are the most important, so if you can master those you will do a great Raindrop. I do incorporate using oils in most of my massage sessions and my clients love it. I hope that helps.

    J.... G....

Thank you Jeri! Where are you located? There isn't anyone around me, that I know of, who offers this style of massage. Would love to experience it prior to learning and offering it to my clients.

    J.... G....

Hi Molly, I am in Twin Falls, Idaho, Where are you? Are you planning on going to the Young Living Convention? They offer Raindrop sessions at convention and at some of their Beauty Schools.

    J.... G....

I live in Chicago. I am not planning on going to the convention. Only recently have I decided to try out Young Living. I did see their classes you can take, but they are crazy expensive!

  52. J.... ....

Thank you for this video! It is so clear and easy to follow.

  53. A.... C....

I'm excited about this video! I'm curious though, is this the CARE, Raindrop Technique Licensed protocol?

    A.... C....

Barbara Crisp it depends on the state that you live in, being a Young Living distributor you can charge for the oil you use you can break it down at how much it cost cuz they tell you roughly about how many drops come in each bottle..
But as massage therapist you can charge extra cuz of the service.

    A.... C....

Yes Michael Redline, I’m aware of all that, what I meant was the rain drop massage technique is a premium service so you CAN charge extra (to cover the cost of oils) but in her salon, it depends on whether the therapist is employee or contract as well.

    A.... C....

No, it is violation of policies and procedures to charge for oils other than in a full, sealed bottle.

    A.... C....

@Kathy Dickson You can charge for the oil used during Raindrop. You just can't "sell" a bottle by the drop per P&P.
