Almost a decade later and this album is still amazing.

The whole album is inspiring. I'm so lucky that i clicked to Bon Iver's song by accident and now I'm listening to the whole album, that's what i needed. So beautiful, touching and gives you those feelings. Whoever is here, you found a gold, ENJOY.

+arctic.ella - he wrote and recorded this album in a cabin in the middle of nowhere over the winter - "bon hiver". This was the first track he did: '... sold my red horse for a venture home to vanish on the bow, settle in slow ... balance we won't know, we will see when it gets warm ..." I am not sure about all the words, but the general gist is digging in for winter, working through emotional turmoil towards spring.

Bon Iver?

It's French for Good Winter. This band is from my hometown, Eau Claire. The lead singer, Justin Vernon, graduated high school from the same school as my kids.

This was my alarm tone during summer, the most refreshing sound to wake up to, ever haha
