I first heard this (just the music) watching the movie The God father but when i heard the song it was even more meaningful

Wonderfully exquisite last 2 notes. His voice is out of this world in this aria.I should play this when a loved one of mine passes on.

This aria set to intermezzo is hands down amazing

I cry every time I hear Andrea singing any one of the Ave Maria's, or especially the Sancta Maria. These will all be played When I exit this life. This rendition I think is one of the most beautiful .. Thank you so much Andrea.

I'm a somewhat capable amateur lyric tenor and at 55 have sung with three choirs in my life and have FINALLY started professional voice lessons about 3.5 months ago. My Instructor, who has his Doctorate in voice thinks I've got a voice that I can really do something with, even if it's just on a semi/professional level here in southeastern Michigan. EVERY time, I'm brought to tears by Bocelli when I hear this recording and his last note breaks my heart in half. He is ridiculously and magnificently talented. Someday I hope to be able to sing this song and not break anyone's ear drums!
