The one song that brings me back down to earth with a bump.

Is it just me, or does anyone else have a problem thinking too much? It’s 4am and I’m going on 24 hrs with no sleep in sight. It seems like the only comfort I get is listening to music. The songs of Bob Seger, Van Morrison, and others tell the story of my life.. I’m always thinking and my mind won’t stop. I hope I can find peace soon, my thoughts are my own worst enemy!

And as the years roll on the words become so much more applicable ...I can't find too many Seger songs I'll skip past these days.

I drank so much beer on the two tracks going 5 miles per hour in an old Pontiac listening to this....such good times...the stars, the music, the dusty road, the beers, the smokes, the dreams, the reflections...

from 1964 I have loved this man and his music and I will till I leave this world for my next adventure just hope they play some Seger there.

I have these record albums and.many more, from my first Creedence til mid 70's when they went to cassettes etc etc etc. Vinyl lasts forever though, still have 78rpm’s from the 40's....50's and my genre the 60's.. Cassette tapes flew down the highway, cd's skip or just don't play and all that technology with m3p,blah,blah,blah and playlists on your phone.... Well if ya want to call me ring me up! By the way this is being brought to you courtesy of my iPad which is way outdated! Aarrrgg too much rum!

I just recently learned that this was supposed to be the opening song in the movie "All the Right Moves," until there was a business dispute at the last minute ... it would have been a perfect song for that movie.

I spent 2 years having severe anxiety attacks after i came home, from Afghanistan. This song hits perfectly. I don't want to imagine having full on PTSD. Hope you manage to beat it.
