This was one of if not her greatest albums, seriously.

Got here coz i was searching the title of the song that BoA’s brother played the piano for her (YES, fyi its BoA’s brother who played the piano). Anyways, was searching for this coz i was thinking it would be nice if BoA and her brother would do this in one of her Solo Concert (hopeful 🙏).. Also watched Amber’s cover and all i can say THERE SHOULD BE NO COMPARISON, ORIGINAL is ORIGINAL. BoA was singing the song in “higher pitch” with a “female’s sentiment” being conveyed like she did with ROMANCE 😉👍🏻. Moreover, we havent seen BoA singing this live and im hoping she will 😢🙏. On the other hand, Amber’s version is what you call “easy listening” (for me). Overall, BoA wins my heart and ears ✌🏻👍🏻

But please do not compare the original with a cover.
Amber herself has paid props to the Queen. You should follow her lead.

It's so interesting that most "new wave" kpoppers have no idea of BoA's work. It's such a shame because there wouldn't be any international interest in Kpop if it had not been for BoA and other older Kpop artists. I heard BoA's version before Amber's. XD It's strange to hear someone else sing it, but cool at the same time. I would love them to do a duet together. I was JumpingBoA before MeU, but I follow both strong. Still, BoA is my mommy, and I feel hurt that "new wave" Kpoppers prefer Amber to her. I'm doing everything I can to keep my claws at bay. lol If this was Amber's song, I would also bring out the claws, because she's my sister. I'm so conflicted. :/

@Kitty LissieGirl For the record, you do sound a little stalker-ish. But, that's besides the point. It isn't about being "biased". It's simply about personal preference. I can't be crucified simply because of personal preference, or my opinion about my own personal preference made to seem like some kind of attack or something, because it isn't. Okay, so for example. I love both Nirvana and Evanescence. Nirvana wrote a song called "Heart Shaped Box". Evanescence covered the song. I much prefer Evanescence's cover because I simply enjoy Amy Lee's voice more than I enjoy Kurt Cobain's voice FOR THAT SONG. Evanescence has covered other songs that I much prefer the original over the cover. Someone might feel vice versa, and that's fine. That is THEIR preference. So, if that's what YOU think, then that's fine. But don't crucify me because of what I think. I think that it doesn't matter who wrote the song, I'm focusing on the INTERPRETATION of the song, not WHO wrote it. I'm focusing on what I'm listening, and for me, I much prefer Amber's voice for the song as a whole, not just on the English parts. Her voice for this song sounds better to ME. I am not stating ANYTHING as a fact.

I actually prefer Luna and Krystal's interpretation in Korean of "I Just Wanna". See? Just a matter of personal preference. I prefer Amber as an artist, but that isn't going to skew my judgement on what sounds better to me when I listen to a song. Logically speaking, you can't really judge how good vocals are based on who wrote the song. That makes zero sense, but I mean, if that's how YOU feel, then whatever floats your boat. My ears are the ones judging, and "Goodbye Summer" sounds better to me than the original "I Just Wanna", and Amber's cover of BoA sounds better to me than the original. It's not because I am being "biased", it is simply because that is what my ears are telling me. If Amber were to cover any other BoA song and it did not sound good to me, I would say so. My ears are not "blinded" by which artist I like the most. 

@Kitty LissieGirl Another example, so you understand that it doesn't revolve around "biases". I do covers on my channel. And some people, who have NO IDEA WHO I AM, they've listened to one of one of my covers and stated how they prefer how I sung the song over the original, even though they are fans of the actual artist. We should crucify them, too. Right? Tell them that they're being "biased" (even though they don't know me) and disrespectful to the actual artist who wrote the song. Do you see how stupid that sounds? If they liked my voice for this song more than the original, then THAT IS FINE. Other people think it was a shitty cover, and that is fine, too! It's all about what they hear and their preferences on what they hear. There is no need to make a big deal about it. Just get over it. Some people like certain sounds and certain voices. I, for example, I LOVE raspy voices, my ex girlfriend hated those kind of voices (example: bruce spingsteen, benjamin burnley from breaking benjamin, Jake Bundrick and Derek Sanders from Mayday parade, etc.) If ANY of these guys did a cover of "I Just Wanna" for example, I'd probably like it more than Amber's original. Get it? 

+Sophia Cordero I prefer people to sing with emotion. This is why I prefer the vocals of the original writer, as it helps me understand the artist more or the feelings being expressed. It just feels more sincere. I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions. I don't know you like that. I just knew you were an f(x) fan and some people get really accustomed to certain artists for so long, it becomes a natural preference, and anything that sounds "foreign" to the individual's ears may not resonate as well, though both may sound good, but people have a natural inclination to lean towards the "familiar" when it comes to sound. But if you honestly just though Amber had better vocals, then so be it. I know I seem like a stalker. But I'm not, I just have a strong memory. XD

@Kitty LissieGirl I also prefer people to sing with emotion, and even though it is a cover, the person singing the song can relate to the song a lot, as well. Hence, still sing with emotion and passion, as well. There are some people who naturally just have more passion when singing than others, even if they didn't write the song. It's a personality trait, to be more emotive and more empathetic. 

I've only been a fan of f(x) for like 2 years. I have only ONE of their physical albums. I'm a 25 year old woman. Do you have ANY idea the amount of music, voices, covers, interpretations that I have listened to in my lifetime? A freaking lot. I can appreciate all kinds of voices. I'm not just blinded by a single kind of voice.

The 'Best of Asia' phrase was to promote her English language album. Originally it was Beat of an Angel or Beat of Asia. I think BoA *is* the best of Asia, so any of them work for me!
