Blue Oyster Cult - Les Invisibles Lyrics
Along the world axis
The Empress lay sleeping
To the rhyme of the, of the, of the star clock
Seven sleepers
Seven sages
Seventh heaven
Seven stars
Had Ursa Major
Tables turning, turning
And rain maker
While the seven
The visitors
All went, all went
A drumming
Dance a Don Pedro
Do the Don Pedro
Games after death
Night dances 'round
Samedi and Petre
In Alchemy
Salute the Four Quarters
Before I leave your eyes
Twinned in the mirror
Les Mesteres come
End me adoration
Before I leave your eyes
World in the mirror
Waters of amnesia come
Do you know (do you know), do you know (do you know)
Do you know (do you know), do you know (do you know)
The court of Eve
Beneath the Polar Mountain
Rose cross and crosser there
Symbols of the swan
Aerial races
In rotation over
The magical casement
Visions of a parallel world
Dance a Don Pedro
Do the Don Pedro
Games after death
Night dances 'round
Samedi and Petre
In Alchemy

Blue Oyster Cult Les Invisibles Comments
the 7 invisibles are obviously in reference to the 7 archons, the evil spirits directing the world in gnosticism. maybe imaginos’ true identity as desdinova is the 8th invisible?
2:21 best part of the album
This song is so underrated.. THIS WHOLE ALBUM IS UNDERRATED

@Damien Thorn + the INCREDIBLE gear change two minutes in ....
I think its dreams after death, not games.
This LP is awesome.
Lyrics guy where you at?!
......SEVEN.7, SEVEN.7,SEVEN,7,SEVEN..........
A very underappreciated album. One their best IMO. I love concept albums.
Always writen in the description 'classic'.. ALRIGHTY!!!
Listen closely, whenever the background vocals start repeating "7"......it's always in groups of 7...... As in "7777777"
Seven times seven is said in groups of seven, that's damn cool.
hmmm........ why am I thirsty for a 7 and 7?
This entire ALBUM is True BOC,w/ ATTITUDE...... And AUTHORITY!!!!!!!
But most of the band had very little to do with this album
superbueno...rifasoooo
Remember listening to Imaginos for the first when it was released with a touch of trepidation. there were big reputations on the line here (in my eyes) ... then that bit at 2:07 kicked in & I knew this was the Oyster boys, all's well with the world, they still had it, form is temporary & class is PERMANENT ....
I get chills at that part.
There are only a handful of rock bands that possess that level of sheer class & BOC have always been one of them ...
браво...
my favorite song.
and it's prophecy
Seven on the floor of the sea...
This has seven likes, I don't wanna ruin it

Oddly enough Blind Illusion recorded our second album in Alpha and Omega,in which we were the embodiment or the soul of the healer whom once murdered descends into the hells to destroy Satan. In the Imaginos story BOC storms Heavan with technologySo there I was playing lead guitar on this Imaginos excursion. My fingerprints are all over I am the one you warned me of, The Siege and investiture of baron von Frankensteins castle at wasseria, and In the Presence of another world, as well as rhythm on MAGNA OF ILLUSION
I was right outside the engineer room when Buck and Bloom were laying down these vocal tracks.Just amazing!!! I firmly requested to take a solo on this song but Sandy had already been over six years in album Hell. Together we stormed Heavan with technology!Twas then that I learned of the blueprints of the pipeline betwixt Heavan and hell
So spaketh an ETERNAL MEMBER of the Guitar Orchestra of the STATE of IMAGINOS!!!!

This is Buck singing, right? I can never be too sure on the Imaginos album, with all of the people who were involved.
@Daniel Arnold It sounds like Buck to me.
Definitely Buck
Kellen, Just grabbed Popoff's BOC book & after a lot of searching here goes; Eric sings lead vocal on I am the One & In the Presence Of + most of Del Rio. Buck sings Les Invisibles, Astronomy & Magna of Illusion. He also duets with Albert on Blue Oyster Cult. Joey Cerisano sings Siege & Investiture. All makes sense now to my ears ....& Joe says he had virtually no involvement in the album at all bar a few backing vocals.
gran buck, inmortal
a real song
Les Invisibles, still as relevant today as it was in the seventies but as they are the eternal ones who move behind the scenes it was always going to be so. NWO anyone?
Great Guitar work from Buck. But what else is new. This CD is genius.
Thanks. really cool.
Meek, Albert was voted out of the band on 20th August 1981 during a tour of England ... an update for you )
Its not entirely true that Albert and Sandy wrote the entire album. Eric Bloom wrote the original versions of Subhuman (Blue Oyster Cult) and Astronomy that these versions are based off of. Buck also helped rewrite a couple of the songs when he was brought in to sing, and he did play guitar on at least a couple tracks. I believe Joe Bouchard also wrote or co-wrote one of the songs.
Of course there were so many people involved with this album its hard to keep track of who did what.
Eric didn't write the original version of Astronomy, the music was started by Joe & finished by Albert using Sandy's wonderful lyrics ...
Okay yeah. I was probably thinking of a different song that used Pearlman's lyrics that wasn't on this album. But the other stuff I said was true.
All those "sevens" in this song reminds me, every time, of Stephen King's nightmarish story titled "1408."
"This is nine! Nine! This is nine! Nine! This is Ten! Ten! We have killed your friends! Every friend is now dead! This is six! Six!"
Steven King was a huge fan.He does an intro for the song Astronomy / Imaginos version,Really cool . On YOU Tube
Seven sages.
Awesome song! Sounding like Donald Roeser when singing is awesome too!
A parallel world! Think of it!
Proto-Metal Magic
Why do I feel like I'm listening to an ancient magic spell put to music?

if you know the story of the album you'll know you kinda are.
A perfect inescapable mirror; where every ensuing attack, leads more into everlasting defeat. Like a f .k..ng succubus.

If I got this album on vinyl I'd genuinely cry..
Ive got it on cassette
i have it on vinyl, and like new.
I ordered one online and I swear I almost did when it arrived :D
Saw it once on vinyl at a store. Didn't buy it. Kick myself now.
@sawd110 is it the demo tape, the one that was, like. Super rare?
Can't even get enough.
Fucking awesome Blue Oyster Cult they have so many great songs.
There’s not a bad song by them; there may be an occasional weak song, or a song that requires a lot of deep critical thought to understand, but never a bad one. BÖC forever!!!!
It is a magical induction to teach you how to ascend to a higher world.
Wicked .
ohhhhhhh yeahhhhhh
love them more than sin, one of their many pigeons
I'm so glad I saw them on this tour at the Wiltern Theater in LA. I've been to 20+ of their shows and that was the only time I've heard them do this song "Live".
I liked John Shirly's lyrics too. Yeah, the later albums are missing some members of the band. I can hear the difference, but.. I like them throughout.
I love boc i have most over there albums it sucks that you have to pretty much search for their music they don't play them on the radio or pandora there music is purely amazing
BOC keeping creepy hard rock alive in 1988
BOC has always been in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the eyes of the fans! Screw the inductions, we all know they were there already for a long time. Long Live BOC!
Makes a first for me!! LOL
Superb Track-superb album, its mystic !
To each their own, I suppose. So how is your band doing?
Actually, most of this album was written by Pearlman and Bouchard, long before Spectres was even released.
Should be One of the top 5 B.O.C. songs!!!
For most other bands than BOC it would .... with this great band would it even make their Top 30 ???
Steven Wilkinson Honestly,
this, Dont Fear The Reaper, Astronomy (Secret Treaties), This ain't the Summer of Love (Which have shockingly similar intros), and Dancing in the Ruins are my top 5
Boc " fucking auto correct!
why can't they make music like this anymore i would die for a other album like this sucks hearing the best when your young hard to find new music now nothing seems close to boy standards.
Sounds like Buck on guitar on this one.
Nobody compares to BOC, originality to the fullest. They had their own sound and style.
Fucking brilliant
I'll take Donald over Tony anyday, just my opinion.
wow what a great sound, this guitar and drums give me goosebumps.
This HAS to be where Ghost got their idea for their CD...
Jamie Laszlo dude I said the same shit. I knew I wasn't the only one who thought that
Classic, classic track!!
@BaronBlood138 Aldo Nova co-wrote the song "Take Me Away" with Blue Oyster Cult. Well that i know.
is this the song that aldo nova played on i know he played on this album but not sure what song
@Chickenapocalypse .No, THEE greatest band of all time!!!
One of the greatest bands of all time.
sure there is no dislike
Orgasmic.
@PDXCHawk --yep, the 7 Visitors, Screaming Dizbusters, the 7 sevens, 7-7-7-7-7-7-7
@gothsdontcry actually its by Sandy Pearlman and Albert Bouchard, all of it cept Astronomy, they did it while Albert was out of the band as a solo project, record co would not release it, only as a BOC, so they reunited, but it didn't last, writing credits were added on the BOC album, Alberts demo is available from time to time do a search, its really good
@josedepr Didja notice it's seven sevens? :)
@PDXCHawk Sleeve. vinyl-sleeve.
I can has playlist of this with the songs in the intended order. Thank you vinyl-sleeze for quietly containing that info.
Love it when that killer riff kicks in at 2.06 then the solo.
