jess ...my brother died from alcohol and pills...he was hurting...it is hard to come to grips why he gave up...I understand..sometimes the pain is to much and people do things we have a hard time understanding..he was tired of hurting and no matter how much I was there as he suffered his own hell...a hell a no matter what I did or how I was there for him he drank himself to death..it's not that he didn't love you but that was tired of hurting..it was his way of letting go...he did not mean to hurt you! He was hurting inside. They are at peace. Be strong and be there for the ones you love. They are watching over us!

i lost my big brother almost two months ago he was the one i always turned to if i broke up with my gf or i lost a family member or if things were getting me down now hes gone i struggle to deal with my emotions which makes it harder as i have anxiety and i find it difficult to stay around my family and step up to being the oldest as they are all turning to me when ive lost the person i turn to when i need him the most

VileDestruction, no, he didn’t. It’s a daily struggle. Hard to see someone you love slowly destroy themselves, try to fix it....only to repeat the same pattern. It’s exhausting.

Well, I have a step brother, he is younger than me but the bad thing is that I have.never know him only by pictures, I do not have more brothers or sisters I'm an only child because he don't want to know nothing about me or my dad... and I feel really bad because all my life I felt alone even now, I'm.married and have a baby boy but that's the one of the many things that depressed me I hope someday he decide to talk to me. :(

i'm the oldest of four siblings, i'm 22 now, my younger bro is 21 and just got married... i'm still single (... ladies ;) ...) no but seriously my other youger bro is 16, and i have a baby sister who is 11, i would do anything for them, but i suffer with a sweet coctail of fucked up issues and moved away 5 years ago, i hadnt seen them in 3 years till my bros wedding... damn just holding them again was sweeter than the ale that was flowing... i dedicate this to all of them, yet nowhere in the UK has this on kareoke... as i would have sang it, after i did his first dance (poison-every rose has it's thorn) the brides choice.... aaanyway thats my share to strangers for this year haha

Me and brother were like best friends when we were younger, then he went to Secondary school, turned into a popular kid and I was the little sister who liked rock music and didn't fit in. Recently he got a job in a magazine at 20, me 17 i'm in college, he said that he loved me for the first time since I was 7. Ten years, and I still idolize him as much as I did ten years ago :)
