This song is so poetic. It's very metaphorical and can be interpreted in endless ways. The 1st verse put me into the world he described. The second verse is inginius. It's metaphors speaking of mankind are profound and the point he was making was spot on! It takes a deep person to really appreciate this song.

I always think of California cause I left California from vacation and I played this song, I like California a lot so I miss having to leave it, when ever I hear this song I’m reminded of it and at times I can even visualize me being in the plane having to leave California, California is my home state, born there so I like this song because of it having to remind me of it, yeah it’s a little sad but at least I’m able to remember the good times I’ve had there

I feel the same. Today driving home from loooong day at work some driver did weird move, I had to slow down and move out of his way... I started to yell my usual "what the f..." but I stopped right after "what". Why? I was listening to "Sway"- the most calm and beautiful song there is. Call me crazy but to me it was like a sin to get mad and upset over some little thing while listening to this song (could be a lot of other Blue's songs).
