This song reminds me of my mother and stepfather, we never got along and I suffered abuse from the both of them, both physically and emotionally. All I ever wanted was for them to let me be me and listen to what I had to say.

Unfortunately they never did and I now have no contact with with my family. For the last 6 weeks, I have been borderline suicidal and I don't know where I would be if not for my girlfriend and her family. They took me in at my most desperate moment and have suffered threats and abuse from my "family" for this. My girlfriend is so lucky to have parents who care enough about her to even take in her boyfriend and it hurts that I couldn't even have a slice of this with my mum and stepfather.

Blue October have probably saved me from killing myself if I'm being honest and I have every plan to finish my college course and get to university and make something of myself despite what they have put me through.

I spoiled my daughter and have her more time and love than my own mother ... and more than most mothers give their children ...!!! Love constant attention and stability ... passes friendship love etc...!! I am very proud ...!!! Teens are hard ..!!!
