Blindside - Monster On The Radio Lyrics

It's not the blindside sound I miss from albums like Silence, but I actually kind of like this song!

Everybody dogging this track, but honestly it's one of my favorites from the record.

What happened to this band? They used to be so awesome...

this is weird.. I have a been a huge fan since back when A Thought Crushed My Mind came out, Christian's voice is so different here but I can still hear him in it. The style is just... different. I'm not bashing, they sound incredible. But like a different band entirely.

i've been a die hard blindside fan since i first heard "nerve" on songs from the penalty box1.
i feel a bit weird loving this song...if it was done by any one else i would mock it.
but becuase i've loved everything else they've put out and how cool the guys have been hanging out before and after shows i will always enjoy their music.
over all i love this album

Music is about instruments and a good voice and not Auto-Tune:ing people's voice.

Hey, dummies. They're ripping on "techno-core" bands who sell out to get on the radio. The sound of the song fits the lyrics. Plus, the song sounds amazing at high volume through a sub. The rest of the album doesn't sound like this.

Easily the worst song on the new record

You know, I keep listening to this song hoping it will grow on me... I doesn't. But the rest of the album is fantastic. I guess even blindside has that "one" song they everybody's like "what were they thinking".

Sure is a new style, a bit mainstream imo... Silence is their best album no doubt, but I like this too, not even close to silence but still OK.. meh

I actually like this song a lot and I've been a fan of Blindside for a long time... the only thing I think is kinda cheesy is the little 80's hip hop sample thing in the beginning and in the middle, otherwise it's a lot of fun and way better than a lot of the songs on the great depression in my opinion

If you don't like or back Blindside's new style, then you are more of a "sellout " in my opinion. Actually. If you hate it, make better music yourself.

blindside is the greatest band ever. i got into them because of the cd silence, and i'll admit, none of there other cd's have come close. but just like you'd feel about your child, i'm proud to be a fan of blindside. i fell in love with silence and everything after that, i knew i would love. i love everthing that they've come out with. but silence, by far, made a huge impact on my life and listening to that cd brings back so many good memories. cant wait for the new cd.

Was hoping for a back to the roots "a thought crushed my mind" style... This is way beyond selling out. Tragic outcome for one of my favorite bands.

Blindside always had an odd evolution. But the heart of the music was always present; Strong absolute passion. Great song.

I love this shiz.. Guess you've procured some fans that expect repetition, though... like @britmc66, @dan12con, etc... Do what you want, enjoy the process of fans that are expecting more of what you did last album flake off and go back to listening emery or what have you (insert fad band here)

They always do something different, and to be honest, I've loved EVERY album they've released, even from the first, 4song-cd

My advice to you is to replay this song many times.. CUZ this such underrated music xD

I surely was waiting for something different, as every album from Blindside I didn't like this song in the first time, however after I listened to it again I found it very catchy as many say! Plus I am now sure they won't ever disappoint me! It sounds modern and keeps with the "Blindside".

Stop whining. It's a great song, just not what everyone had expected. Does Blindside ever give you what you expect? Nope. Still you're always blown away by their music.

It's a sarcastic song making fun of what it takes about getting a song on the radio. It's still very unique and I don't think it indicates anything quite yet. I really like it.
