It's crazy to think that that wolf at Morgoth's feet is Sauron. Basically a lapdog, he would go on to become the greatest threat in Middle Earth.

I don't think it is. It's most likely Carcharoth, the wolf that bit off Beren's hand. Sauron at this point in time would be without a shape, because he was defeated by Luthien and Huan.

This is one of the sexiest tune-guitar-sounds I have ever listened to. Whole album, part of my DNA

The lyrics sound like they're spoken by different characters at different times. Gollum at "give to me, I must have it" and "how I need it", Frodo at "I did my part, now it's your turn", and the Nazgul at "we are following the will of the one".
Anyway, I love this.

This has nothing to do with Lord of the Rings. It's a scene from the Silmarillion with Morgoth (Sauron's master) and Ungoliant (Shelob's mother) arguing over the Silmarils. The "we are following the will of the one" are probably Morgoth's Balrogs who came to help him against the massive eldritch Spider.

Well, it sure reminds of the old heavy metal using a faster tempo and a bit more symphonic melodies, which are two main features of power metal, so I would say that you are right!

To be honest, he made hell of a job, and even improved a lot of the things from the book, and yes the movie isnt perfect either, but it stand alone as an incredible homage to the spirit of the books.Tolkien is not a deity, and his books had flaws, so why not make a bit improvements form the the main story? Jesus christ, some people really need to be more objective ... Trashing a movie series that deserved all of its praise, in a world where everybody is a damn movie critic, where good movies are hard to come by, is an insult to every single person who tries to make quality material. discrepo, keeper nn é un lavoro comparable con la poesia e talento musical di questi artistas, altro livello...
