Blind Faith - Well All Right Lyrics

Well, alright, so I've been foolish
Well, alright, let people know
'Bout the dreams and wishes that you dream
In the night when lights are low

Well, alright, well, alright
You know we'll live and love with all our might
Well, alright, well, alright
You know our lifetime love will be alright

Ooohooohooo
Ooohooohooo
Ooohooohooo

Well, alright, so I'm not working
Well, alright, let people say
That those foolish kids can't be ready
For the love that comes their way

Well, alright, well, alright
You know we'll live and love with all our might
Well, alright, well, alright
You know our lifetime love will be alright

Ooohooohooo
Ooohooohooo
Ooohooohooo

Well, alright, so I've been foolish
Well, alright, let people know
'Bout the dreams and wishes that you dream
In the night when lights are low

Well, alright, well, alright
You know we'll live and love with all our might
Well, alright, well, alright
You know our lifetime love will be alright

Ooohooohooo
Ooohooohooo
Ooohooohooo

Blind Faith Well All Right Comments
  1. A.... F....

    BUDDY HOLLY!!!!!🤘🏼🎤🎸👍🏼🎼❤️🎼🎶🎵

  2. t.... ....

    Santana's version is definitive.

  3. R.... S....

Seems like Blind Faith, Cream and Derek and the Dominoes were the same band

    R.... S....

Cream: Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce
Blind Faith: Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Steve Winwood, Ric Grech
Derek and the Dominos: Eric Clapton, Jim Gordon, Bobby Whitlock, Carl Radle, with Duane Allman sitting in on the Layla album

  4. d.... a....

This is just a good tune. Too many music snobs commenting.

  5. D.... H....

Love the Clapton hidden hand. That is one epic pic.

  6. s.... ....

Always wondered why G.B. maintained that Ric Grech was the weak link in Blind faith as he sounds perfect for the Buddy Holly 1st part of this and real good on the famous, jazzy rideout to this great cover.

    s.... ....

Well, I love Ric's playing, but he doesn't rise to the level of Jack Bruce, whom, despite their famously terrible relationship, he had a brilliant musical rapport with. Besides, look at the other "links"; from Bakers perspective, those are Winwood and Clapton.

    s.... ....

Ya but lets face it Jack Bruce (As Frank Zappa once stated - "Had other things on his mind than playing BASS") which is why with Cream live,  the question was always - where's the One, the downbeat... and in a trio someone's gotta hold down the bottom end.      I love Jack Bruce for lots of other reasons but at that stage , I feel he would've sucked in Blind Faith.

    s.... ....

@stevearle You may be right... Blind Faith didn't last anyway, and that's a real shame!

    s.... ....

Totally agree that B.F. had lots more potential!      but after watching the excellent Ginger Baker doc. I think we all can guess why... peerless drummer though he is...

  7. J.... F....

When i listened to him, he was playing an electric violin.

    J.... F....

When I saw him first he was in Family , violin as well

  8. N.... n....

...what a nice interpretation of the original...Blind Faith did a good job!!!

    N.... n....

I got original vinyl. There ain’t nothing like it!

    N.... n....

David Brown...no, I mean the original of this song is from Buddy Holly.

    N.... n....

    Everyone loves Holly !🥀🥀🥀🥀

  9. J.... F....

What ever became of Rik Gretch?

    J.... F....

He joined Traffic for a bit and also worked with Steve Winwood and Gram Parsons.

    J.... F....

Thank you, is he still with us?

    J.... F....

Jack Fletcher - A quick search shows Grech passed away in March of 1990. A great bass player!

  10. D.... P....

Sounds a lot like Delaney & Bonnie.

  11. M.... W....

Apparently Clapton went into this to escape Ginger Baker but he just sort of turned up and became part of it

  12. A.... D....

I prefer the buddy Holly or Waylon Jennings versions but this is a unique version. The change up that happens at :53 is nice unexpected great sound.

  13. t.... ....

    Isn't this the Santana version?

    t.... ....

    ...teious...no

    t.... ....

    What a stupid question.

    t.... ....

Buddy Holly wrote and sang the original version of this song. Santana and Blind Faith out their own spin on it

  14. r.... s....

I had to sneak Lenny bruce and j.d. sallinger in my room and read what they said? but i did?

  15. r.... s....

well alright iv'e been foolish ja hoes a fat? you can call me that?

  16. M.... W....

Is this the Buddy Holly tune ?

  17. k.... ....

    Terrible sound quality.

    k.... ....

maybe your sound just sucks ?

    k.... ....

@knickerbockerflat: The mix/fidelity is what it is. The same track done today would sound different. That said, you are listening to Stevie Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Ric Grech performing a Buddy Holly song produced by Jimmy Miller... pretty hard to go wrong with that line up. If it is of benefit, imagine you are so fortunate as to be sitting in the room while they are recording.
