This is definitely a hit..only a few times in Mary's career  have I been disappointed.This is not one. Whether she is going through something or happily married she gives you something. I love that she doesn't stay the same and she shakes it up,keeps  her true fans on their toes. Never heard of Disclosure,or maybe I have and just don't know, but I like what he did with the song!

Sorry, but Disclosure and Mary J are not gelling for me. Mary has deep, gritty vocals and Disclosure has slick and detached production. The kind of heartfelt vocals Mary has is too much for Disclosure's surface fun. There is a certain disconnect there. Also, Mary's vocal style stretches notes, while Disclosure has skittery, staccato rhythms. In order to make it seem less jarring she is toning herself down, but then it doesn't feel like 100% Mary. Both artists are very good on their own, but together there is something missing. It's not organic. 

It's the classic "Fire and Ice" combo. The deep soulfulness of Mary's voice with Disclosure's polished, inorganic production. The smoothness and elasticity of the vocals with the jarring, staccato drums and synth. It's a tried and tested combo ("Yazoo" for one, along with other 80s synth-pop acts). Mary J and Disclosure in this way are the perfect match with an "old" idea brought bang-up-to-date... Well... That's why I like it anyway...

I think it's because her voice is a bit older and doesn't have as much as a young sound that disclosure brings. But I try to overlook it and enjoy the music
