I've never been able to get into BTF, I'm super into this type of music and every couple years I give them another listen but it never sticks. This album is sounding wishy-washy.. boring forgettable.. hoped it would be one I like but ! ..

BTF fans what are some hidden gems from them? Any album

hidden gems: till the death of me from their 2011 awakening album. up in flames from the 2015 album, and hollow bodies had ´great tracks like buried in these walls, the sound of starting over, exodos, deja vu, see you on the outside, open water.

JackIsaacQ Hollow Bodies is probably their strongest album so far, though I haven't listened to the new album fully I like what I've heard so far, but HB was the album where the electronic elements was blended in really well with the heavy sound. However BTF was never really at the top of my list when it comes to metal bands anyway.

Personally I really enjoy the album "His Last Walk" it has their original vocalist Craig Mabbit who I prefer. The way he transitions from his clean vocals to his screaming is great. Check it out I personally love the entire album but if I had to pick one it would be "guys like you make us look bad"

I'm blown away that this is the same band. My jaw dropped when I heard LMTF's new album as I NEVER thought they'd mellow out but I still dug the majority of that album. This album...I don't know what happened. BTF is my favorite band to see live due to the energy and just raw fun they bring to the shows...I don't see any of these new songs doing that. It's like you literally will fall asleep for 75% of the song then wake up for the brief heavy parts. Been jamming "Witness" lately and that album just annihilates this.

I think this album really shows how they have developed their sound. These songs have more depth to them than the last album. I love the heavy stuff but you can tell they put more work into this album. Also this is Beau's best album he has finally found his sound in the band.

Meekloe I agree this is definitely Beau’s album for sure. He does sound great, but I thought To Those Left Behind was a much more emotional album. Hard Feelings does have more depth but I don’t think it was executed the best that it could have... I respect the direction they’re going tho and I hope they can really master it in the next album!

It's called maturing...this has a ton of subdued energy. Melody, sweet guitar notes, I'm digging it man. A lot of bands start out screaming and going all super metalcore and as they get older, they get a little softer but their melodies and structure get so much better. I think this is a great example of it working.

But Eric and Elliott are so good at metalcore riffs. I love Hard Feelings don't get me wrong, but I miss tracks like Promised Ones, Bottomfeeder, Youngbloods, Carry On, To Those Left Behind, etc.
