I like Blake and have most of his songs but I do get tired of these guys who come across to true "country" people that he/they are from a country background... Blake was in the ranks of musicians early in his life so he never "paid the dues" ie farming, ranching, hardships etc. He was already in a music publishing company by age 17.. not shoveling manure or tossing hay. It's all just a show they put on.
