Blackfoot - Whiskey Train Lyrics
Well I ain't gonna ride no whiskey train
Ain't gonna feel no low down pain, no
Cause l'm-a throwin' my bottle baby, down the drain
Honey don't wanna feel no low down pain hey yeah
Tomorrow morning get my walking shoes
Ahh between the loving her and paying dues
I gotta shake these low down blues
Won't buy no ticket on no whiskey train
Well I ain't gonna ride no whiskey train
Think I'll throw my bottle babe down the drain
Won't buy no ticket on no hell bound rail

Greg’s bass work is great on this...
One of the great British blues--Southern Rock crossover tunes! Right up there with "Crossroads" and anything else by Ten Years After and Free that a Southern rock band has covered
That ain't no Rickey Medlocke!
As Bruce Dickerson would say -- I could have used a little more cowbell. (Which is absolutely amazing on the original version).
Is that Rick with a beard in the picture???
Nope, that's Bobby Barth (Axe).
Love Rickey Medlocke , love classic Blackfoot , love Robin Trower even more !
Great Group. Took me back to when a time was good.
Superb cover, Thanks Blackfoot!

More COWBELL!!!!!!
If he was you wouldn't have to ask that question !!!!!!
Are you sayin' Ricky IS Dicky? That would solve a lot of things in my mind if it were true.......
Is Charlie on this.... ??????
Counterfoot. Rickey is a Dick.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder because this, along with all the other versions I've listened to simply can not compare to Procol Harum's version in my eyes.
This is a kicking song that WAS done by Procol Harum but their version didn't have THIS power. Can't wait for the cd.
Not bad at all…Too bad the recording skips a bit.
Curiosity: were did those words come from?
