Charlie is such a great song writer. So many good songs now - and the band itself
is one of the best rock and roll bands I've ever heard. The Blackberry Smoke story
is just getting started. We're watching the emergence of America's finest rock band,
on the cusp of a world wide explosion. Sadly, the western US is still somewhat in
the dark - Radio isn't what it used to be; if it were Blackberry Smoke would be the
biggest band in say, Los Angeles. Wake up folks.

Kevin Blackmon that’s how talented this band is. Not every song is cut from the same cloth, they can, and do touch all kinds of genres with their sound. This song, for instance, was inspired by Tom Petty, and his sound. He was someone these guys really looked up to, and it’s one hell of a tribute.

Christian Brooks Tom petty was talented these guys shouldn't be mentioned with him.hey at the end of the day everyone likes what they like.glad you like them.

To each their own is true, but I think even Tom Petty himself would disagree with you, but hey that’s just me. There’s a reason why Charlie is allowed the privilege of playing Duane’s gold top at many of their live shows. I hope you give the rest of their catalogue of music a listen before you settle on them not being talented. This band embodies the sound and soul that southern rock was founded on.
