This is really good but I had one major problem with it. He replaced the words "All the way to Georgia now". Always loved that part, maybe because I'm from Georgia! Is that a legitimate complaint on an otherwise awesome remake?!😂

I did a hard rock version of this song in 1994.and the club owner told me the world isn't ready for that. We didn't work there for much longer. Cause I wouldn't change. Then in 2016 a girl from my college told me about BSC. WELL I FINALLY LISTENED TO IT THIS SUMMER. I would listen to it full blast like 20 times a day. Awesome dudes from Kentucky. Just wish they had put some more lead guitar at the end

Looks like everyone is refering to different artists as the origial. Burning Love was originally recorded by country/soul artist Arthur Alexander. It was then covered and made popular by Elvis Presley.

No offense to the original composers, but this rock version is more fun to listen to.

This song is the reason I fell in love with my fiance 3 years ago. lol. He asked if I had heard it and after he played it, and I obviously fell in love with it, we started talking music (which turned out to be a huge passion of both of ours.) Now we are getting married in September and this will be our first dance song! Whenever anyone asks him how we started dating, he always gives a huge contribution to Blackstone Cherry. haha. We've been to a couple concerts and Memphis in May when they were there. We will also be at Rocklahoma this May, and I promise we will be at this stage. Would LOVE the chance to be able to get something autographed by you guys for him as a special wedding gift!

If you compare this to the original version by the Marshall Tucker Band, it's completely butchered. Basically, they used lyrics from the MTB original and composed completely different music for it. Why didn't they just write original lyrics for the music? They would have another original of their own instead of calling it a cover.

Not dissing Black Stone Cherry but I like Marshall Tucker's version better. Black Stone Cherry rocks and I love jamming to their music, so do not think I am not a huge fan I just like MT's better.
