Shame on you, Scott Gorham for facilitating this severely watered-down copycat crap for the sake of a buck. Black Star Riders, indeed - riding the coattails of Ireland's darkest son. Would you or Ricky Wannabe even have a music career today if not for Phil Lynott? Doubtful. Ricky Warwick is almost talented enough to be a zit on Phil's ass. Almost. At least you had the sense (fear of retribution?) not to call it Thin Lizzy.

Liked the first two albums. Not crazy about what I heard so far from "HF". Not catchy at all. Maybe it will grow on me........

Gotta agree w/you. Don't care for the feel for this one at all. Loved the first two albums, this is first tune from them I flat out don't like.

I listened to the disc once-through so far, and the pre-release songs to me are the weaker ones, they just seemed rather forced. However, dig deeper on this new album and I think you'll like it.

EXACTLY my thoughts! Not keen on this one, the first two albums had a stronger Lizzy/classic hardrock vibe (listen to Hoodoo Voodoo for example). This one is to modern sounding and indeed not catchy/down-to-the-point enough, and it's probably the direction and sound they're heading to, at least it looks like that ;)
