Black Sabbath - Fairies Wear Boots Lyrics

Goin' home, late last night
Suddenly I got a fright
Yeah I looked through a window and surprised what I saw
Fairy wear boots and dancin' with a dwarf, all right now!

Yeah, fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
Yeah I saw it, I saw it, I tell you no lies
Yeah, fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
I saw it, I saw it with my own two eyes, all right now!

Yeah, fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
Yeah I saw it, I saw it, I tell you no lies
Yeah, fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me
I saw it, I saw it with my own two eyes, all right now!

So I went to the doctor, see what he could give me
He said "Son, son, you've gone too far.
`cause smokin' and trippin' is all that you do."
Yeah......

this was a fave of my sabbath freak friends in my teens. sabbath like many bands in the 70s, infused jazz and or blues into their music, and this song is a good example of jazz/rock fusion. weather he was on drugs or not, it sounds like a Victorian paranormal experience.

The "playroom" was on the third floor, about 150 feet from the four-way intersection. The intersection was on of the two exit points for all patrons leaving the Theatre-in-the-Round on the south shore of Boston. The way the intersection was constructed, all carsexiting in that direction had their headlights, either high or low beam, directed in the window of the playroom, causing the light to travel across the four-foot by six-foot-wide poster of a double white center with stalagtite-like dark "rays" radiated out in a double pattern, creating an optical confusion with every traveling beam of light.

The ceiling had been dotted, 3-D drawn, and keyword written in day-glow orange and green marker which showed up on the bone-white ceiling as if backlit. The two blacklights were on timers, fifteen minutes on, fifteen off. And don't try to read by the damned things. It'll scare the weasel out of you when everything in the bing-bonged world is the dead wrong color. Or nearly so.
On the wall were two exposed sconces about four feet apart, one with a red bulb, the other with a green bulb. Each had a random flash disc in the socket, so they completely randomly flashed constantly, off for one second, on for five, off for a second on for three, off for two seconds, on for one, off for one, on for two...both randomly beside each other at the same time.

There was a strobe mounted up high with the on/off/speed control cleverly concealed where only my bro and I knew. Day-glow posters ringed the walls, "Suppose They Gave A War, And Nobody Came..." in red/orange and black, among others. The ceiling had been hung with dozens of 1" mirrors, glued back-to-back, pressed together over a length of 15-lb. monofilament line, virtually invisible in broad daylight. These dangled anywhere from eight to sixteen inches down off the eight-foot ceiling, spinning and swinging in the breeze of the small fan high in the dark corner. Except it wasn't dark when the strobe flashed. The Fisher sound system was "They don't know what they've created" kind of bass response. It went to eleven, also. The washroom was next door. The furniture was broken-in and comfortable. The LSD was windowpane, only the real Orange Sunshine was appreciably better. The music was vinyl Sabbath's "Paranoid", Allmans "Live at the Fillmore East", Hendrix' "Cry of Love", the James Gang, Spirit - the family that plays together, stays together, Cream, Blind Faith, Traffic, and those blokes who played on "Beggars' Banquet", called themselves "Bagger/Richered or something.

King Bong was made of steel. His body was a tapered tube shape, about five inches diameter at the bottom and an opening half that size at the top. He was thirty-three inches tall. His base plate was 12 X 16", 1/8" sheet steel, left unpolished in a kind of menacing dark gray. I welded him off-center and drilled his stem-hole facing the bigger side of the plate, then bent it slightly in the middle, so he'd rock. King Bong's stem hole was a foot above the base, made of steel pipe welded to two nuts. Deze nuts were the kind you see holding onto bolts at the base of the giant light poles in the Megamall parking lot. Together, they would hold a powdered ounce of powdered stuff. The stem was 22 inches long, making the inside of the nuts visible while lighting a match to check on the ice situation. King Bong held seven full trays of ice cubes. The big cubes. If you dare breathe from the body of the King, beware. Your lungs will be supercool. Whether you're ready or not.
This is 1971 saying "Remember Miss Gull Point".

All of the suggested videos by YouTube are spot on! Why won't YouTube do this with political videos??? They are afraid that their political position is weak and they have no strong arguments for their weak position.
