I totally agree with you, i've never really liked the Beatles, i find their music too simple. Its almost become a given thing that you just have to love the Beatles and they were great.

I couldn't agree more! Oh, the first time I heard the Doors, or Pink Floyd! I don't live in Scotland, but radio stations play the same crap here, too, just spiced up with disco-pop from communist era here and there. They were playing Black Angels from a CD at that pub. Guess it's up to us to spread the message.

Thats cool.You obviously dont live in Scotland.The kids here dont hear any of this good stuff.Radio stations here play chart music all the time.It does my box in but then again thats the main reason I never put the radio on.Your right though seek and you will find but that usually applies to older music as there is precious few decent new music coming out.Shame really because there is nothing quite like hearing a new band for the first time and getting shivers from their music.

Yeah, it should get more airplay, that's true. But hey, he who seeks, finds. I heard this band playing from a stereo in a pub. I sat there, fascinated, ear to an amp, for about half an hour and I asked the bartender what band it was. She said Black Angels and here I am.
