I love this band soooooo much. I just pre-ordered their new Limited Purple Vinyl Album & CD "Diamonds" that is due to be released on March 27, 2020. Can't wait to get it. Also just saw that they will be performing in my area on April 10, 2020. I'll be there.

Poignant for me, this song came along at a profound low-point in my life and boy oh boy did I listen to this on repeat like nothing else.
Managed to move past the mess, but I can't say how grateful I am I had this to hold that tide at bay.

Birthday Massacre isn’t music. It’s an emotion.

If you pay attention to the lyrics, she's singing about enlightenment. She's disappearing, sinking to her lowest low and abolishing her past completely only to be reborn again. If you read the lyrics, there's really no other explanation and it's quite obvious. Judging by how transcendental this song feels, I think she experienced it and she's sharing it through this song.

This band deserved to be playing live to crowds of 100.000 people, instead we have shitty bands doing that and who didn't even deserve to be playing to 10 people...what a fucking waste :(
