Chibi is such an amazing artist and showman when the band is playing live. Chibi is great with her fans as are the rest of the guys. Chibi will be totally nailing her lyrics with amazing tone and she interacts with her fans in the audience by reaching out to hold their hands and sometimes she will just look into your eyes and sing just for that person. I was totally blown away by her presence when she just happened to look at me and preform her heart out for a stranger. She looks absolutely stunning In this video for "beyond" and, the guys haute=couture jackets are on every goths wardrobe wish list.
The new album "under your spell" is another showstopper. Even my mother loved it. She was big On Roxcette in the 80's.
To the band, " you have been to Vegas twice. Once for the "hide and seek" tour and the "Superstition" tour. U fortunately the band didn't make it to Vegas for the new album and we were left with traveling to Pomona, CA or Scottsdale, AZ. We wouldn't have mind traveling from Vegas to see the band play in both states but we were unable to make any of the shows. My wife and I are still young but in our early 20's we were both struck with severe medical conditions. We both have different conditions but they have left us ultimately debilitated. So when we get to see a great band live it's helps us to fell alive for an couple hours in the year. So hoping you guys travel back to Vegas again!

When the first verse comes in I start to tear up. Whoa whoa whoa. The production from Rainbow, Falcore (not sure of others) is the greatest. You are unbelievable

I think chibi's one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen, like I honestly think she has the most gorgeous face, people gain weight, people loose weight it happens it's a part of life, lord knows there's been times I gained a shit ton of weight, and honestly I don't think she's fat at all, she used to be pretty skinny now she's just kind of more normal Mabee a little curvier, honestly I just think she looks more mature/grown up, she's not in her 20s anymore, people grow up and most people aren't a stick anymore past their teens/early 20s. Plus I think she dresses rly well for her body/shape/curves she always has the cutest outfits and dresses. Idk, the end result is she's freakin gorgeous at any size.

Some bands are created for another's fans while some bands create their own fans.

I'm having such a love affair with this song at the moment. I love it so much. Chibi' voice sounds so fantastic and the guitars and synthesizers and drums are so great here. Everything is perfection. And all of the band members look good.

This is more than just music. It's a journey to another place. I can't thank TBM enough for creating such beautiful music. Whenever I needed an escape, they were there to provide it.

I have watched this video AT LEAST 15 times or so in the last few days and I'm still not tired of it.

I'm not sure what got me about this song in particular because I don't ever watch music videos more than like...twice without thinking "well that's enough for now" but, seriously, good job!!!!

I bloomed a bit late on familiarizing myself with The Birthday Massacre. Most bands I listen to today have spun off of previous bands I had originally listened to. It was harder to come across these guys because none of my personally favorite bands come remotely close to the unique, amazing sound music genre that this spectacular band is placed under. I own their debut album, Nothing and Nowhere, but I honestly need to get them all. I love all their music and it helps set me in a calm, better state of mind when I have had stressful or depressing days.

I am completely flabbergasted that in the 16 years I've been a fan of TBM, they never exploded. Every single release has been damn near perfection!

It might be better that way. Many a beloved band/musician gets shit later on for "selling out" or "going mainstream". Never understood that but that's the way it goes often.

Plus, going by genres, prap/crop rules the airwaves right now.

The fact is that they are too dark to become very successful. As good as they surely are.

This band really captures the Donnie Darko crowd / vibe - very dreamy feel stuff - Falcor the luck dragon would be proud.

The Birthday Massacre reminds me of the 80's band Missing Persons. I think it is the guitars and synth. Both bands are great. Missing Persons were bright, where as The Birthday Massacre are dark.

+TheCorrectViews This album is actually much closer to their roots. My favorite of theirs is Walking with Strangers, with Superstition now coming in second. For a while they went to a more grunge, heavier sound but I'm glad to see them do more synth again.
