@wee poo Mate, speaking as a guy in his twenties. Karnivool and Birds really need to stop being compared to one and other. They are two completely separate groups that just so happen to share a vocalist. This is not uncommon, most people in the music business have multiple projects all at once. At one point I was in three bands at the one time, two now, but still the point remains the same. It's not a matter of how hard it is to "get into", it's a matter of taste. They are both great bands that can consistently pump out good material. One is a pop rock / alt rock band, the other is a prog rock / metal band. They are two very different sounds and it would be much better for everyone would stop commenting on Birds videos about Karnivool and visa versa.

This band is shit. They need to wear hawiian shirts drink beer and cheer up a bit.

If I want prog rock I go for pink floyd. BTW just checked they are listed as prog rock / alternative metal. They defiantly have more of a "metal" band feel. I will always like Birds of Tokyo better, don't try to change me.

Did the same in Perth. I managed to get front moshpit for both BOT and Muse. Would have happily paid hundreds more then i did just for Birds of tokyo. They need a lot more love then they get.
