I didnt think they could top the self titled album for me. But after a couple of months of listening to this it has. Bot lyrics just resonate with my soul. March fires made me think it was all over for me. Glad to be proven wrong.

I love Ian's other band Karnivool, but I think Birds is slightly the better band. However in the Uk its only Karnivool that get general release. I have to buy the albums from their website or Third Party from Australia. I got thew signed Best of sent from the band. That Cost my £20 pounds. I had no idea this was out, just ordered it today....and seen the single which is amazing. In a post trump world...Empire needs to be Grim.

Great song, but I'm a little unsure of what they are trying to get across with all the conspiracy theory references in the video. Are they suggesting that they are true, or that they are the same kind of insanity that lead people to follow crazy ideologies? Or, perhaps they were trying to make a deeper point?

I love it that they've returned to their original sound like the stuff that was on Day One and Universes. Much more alternative rock and less like the alternative pop that was on Marchfires. I am really impressed with this album so far!!!

Its More Prog Indie Alt/Rock...Karnivool are more Art/ progressive Metal both bands are amazing. However Tokyo found their voice quicker. Its Only the last album that Karnivool became more than their influances
