Billy Preston - Let It Be Lyrics
When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be
And in my hour of darkness
Shine until tomorrow
Let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
There will be an answer
Let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
There will be an answer
Let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
There will be an answer
Let it be

Billy Preston Let It Be Comments
Loved Billy since the first time I heard him in 75. Gone too soon, but we got his tunes to remember him by! RIP Mr Preston.
That piano solo part is fire. I love his voice on this. Just now discovering this man!
Whether you consider billy a 5th Beatle or not this man is responsible for a hand full of songs for back track piano for the band.
Happy birthday BP!
Una preciosa interpretación la del fenomenal Billy Preston, no me canso de verla y escuchar esta melodía. traduzco al ingles
A beautiful interpretation of the great Billy Preston, I never get tired of seeing her and listening to this melody.
Emilio Moreno
That’s brilliant.
There will be no sorrow, Let It Be...
This guy had IT
Love this man!
A great musician. A greater human being.
where is it? Is it at Zlata Lyra in Bratislava?
Billy Preston played on Abbey Road and Let It Be , then coloquially named as "fifth beatle". RIP Billy
Another musical pioneer
Who could beat this,absolutely WOW
Is this Paul mcCartney? I tought he was white, but iam a fool.
Billy Preston was there for almost everything they did in studio for the last couple years
jeremey sebastian He was only with the band January 22-31, 1969 for the Let It Be sessions, and came back to play organ on I Want You (She’s So Heavy) on April 20, 1969 and on Something May 2, 1969. He wasn’t there for “almost everything they did in studio for the last couple years” but his contributions for the songs he was on are, for the most part, what makes the songs, unless it’s just adding to the ensemble like on songs like Long and Winding Road, I’ve Got A Feeling, or Dig It
agreed Billy Preston is the 5th beatle
There is two fifth beatle... Billy or Bryan.
Fantastic
"Let It Be" all the pain and hurt aside, "Let It Be" Thank you, Billy!
We will always remember you Billy! Your music and passion is right here in our Hearts!!!!!
!!!

he is so happy the fifth beatle
In honor of the passing of Billy Preston on June 6, 2006. Billy doing 'Let It Be". Billy Preston was the only musician to be given credit along with The Beatles on any of their recordings. https://youtu.be/lcB30Ydx5s0
Billy knew perfectly how to play Let it be.
BILLY HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND WILL ALWAYS BE OUR ETERNAL FIFTH BEATLE
He is always so happy when he sings
Need to boost the volume a bit. BP is the boss!!
Billy Preston saved the Beatles from a total collapse in January 1969 during the Let It Be takes by bringing in warmth to the studio and encouraged them to work better together
THE 5TH BEATLE FOR SURE!
Billy is so filled with joy! And I'm convinced this is now a gospel song.
If the Beatles had stayed together beyond 1970, I have a feeling they might have permanently added Billy as a full-fledged fifth Beatle.
Rubbish, they were never racist. Many of their heroes were black - Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Larry Williams... They sang Motown songs in the early years too. It was a culture shock for them when they first went to America and saw racism and black segregation there.
They would have had Yoko
They did have Yoko and all she did was cause of and a whole ton of drama. They are very far from a racist group. Have work with many many people of color so that is really an unfair statement.
The Beatles were NOT racist. It is mentioned in a few books.. The Beatles had a clause in their performance contract. The audience could not be segregated. Lennon wanted Billy to be in the band, Paul not so much. George brought him it, so the band wouldn't fight so much The Beatles had met him when he was 16 playing for Little Richard.. Little Richard got rid of him.. Cause Little Richard could be the ONLY star in his show. Billy was getting too much attention.. There is a video of him playing on the Nat King Cole show as a child.. Preston was Brilliant.
@Mick Thunder you are.
Legend Billy Preston saying, "Let it Be".
Billy Preston was one of the best keyboard players of all time. RIP Billy. You are missed by all your fans.
His freestyling on Get Back was amazing.
he was rubbish a 5 year old could play like him
Just love Billy so talented and what a beautiful version. RIP Billy.
As beautiful as this song is, people still have to ruin it by arguing about who is better, and completely misunderstanding the meaning of the song. Just let it be!
the fifth beatle
There are and have been many GOOD artists that are NOT quite up there with the best, Billy was one of them.
very good !!!
The audio mix is bad and still it's epic. The sound of musical perfection.
Shit let it be . Don't look to sign like the Beetles, it is what it is.
I'm a huge Beatles fan and this version is really good.
normallya billy plays the organ not the piano. I agree that Let it be is missing the hammond organ solo
PERFECT
God bless the 5 beatles.
Thats always what i say , he made let it be album and Abbey road possible!! he put the tension aside inside the beatles!
LEGEND!
sounds so cool when a soul player does it. little funky lics makes it sounds better
Great McCartney song
RIP Great Billy!
My mother and I both dreamed this song on the same night one night while we were sleeping. Little did I know that my mother would soon die and leave me.
Whenever I would hear someone sing a Beatles song, my immediate reaction was, "You have no business singing a Beatles song." Billy Preston, however, was the one person on Earth who was worthy of singing Beatles songs. He was, after all, the "fifth Beatle" in the minds of most of us. RIP, Billy. You left us much too soon.
Why are morons allowed to speak write and type? Deaf people shouldn't criticize talented musicians.
No its George Martin.
Not George Martin?
actually thats William Bruce Rose Jr. to you.I call him Axle roads because he sucks.
BRILLIANT!!
@sumofat5 You're joking, right?
@FluffyBunniesOnFire nope ringo was the 5th beatle
That's the way God planned it, that's the way God want's it to be
@FluffyBunniesOnFire Or the sixth if you count George Martin!
@OrfeoProve Some days I feel that way too.
Wow!!! Great great rendition.
@carmaj156 thank u. most ppl dont no he was considered the 5th beatl
e.
JUST THINK HE WAS UP THERE ON THE ROOF OF APPLE STUDIO PLAYING THIS SONG AND OTHERS WITH THE FAB 4 PRICELESS
@jmonroe90 Exactly from my Beatles book , it said he played ``Electric Boogaloo Piano''.
@oo0909 verdade
@carmaj156 lol, it's true. Thanks... =)
this is the only man that can do a cover of the beatles and do it good.
Tim Maia versão americana....rssssssssssssssssssssssss
@b3tinhok The only problem is, he was a Beatle ;)
He looked so happy in this video,as if he has lived through again that time playing this song with the beatles
A versão é legal, mas é incomparável quanto a dos Beatles.
The version is cool, but Beatles versions it's better
@TheLadandLass very true, he was clearly the 5th beatle. I love watching him perform in the Concert for George
Preston was such a huge talent.
How lucky the beatles were to have him in their sessions.
When the Beatles invited guest musicians to play on their records, they really chose well: they chose musicians who not only had plenty of innate talent, but also understood how to effectively integrate their sound with the Beatles'.
YO BRESTON!
If the Beatles had stayed together for ten more years, he probably would have officially become the fifth Beatle.
J Ciner why are comments not in chronological order?
Mad Piano skills mann!
R.I.P. Billy. You're home with your maker now. Continue your singing in the high heavens praising the "Sweet Lord." God bless.
Billy was of course the 5th Beatle (officially).
Fantastic version of an incredible artist. Just Amazing
snap Billy rocks this - it blisters. Billy Preston - extremely talented and hugely under rated. love to Mr. Preston <3
damn, goose bumps from my neck all the way down my spine till my buttcr@ck.
way to go billy!
I have a feeling that alot of people reading this don't actually realize that Billy Preston played with the beatles on their last 2 albums and was actually probably the stabilizing force that led to the beatles even staying together long enough to make those.
@FluffyBunniesOnFire
I ususally think of him as the first beatle.
Too bad this guy wasn't blind. He'd be such a bigger legend.
Beautiful music!!!
The 5th Beatle, as I see it.
Hey check out Glad'ys Knight and the pip's version, its pretty good and they dont try to out do the original song.
@faboge He played the Organ on the original version. Paul played the piano in the original version.
Now this is what I call musc, what a great singer. R. I. P Billy.
@dobbsgeorge ....songs on the spaghetti incedent.you can and Metallica remakes to the list( turn the page)ahhhhhhhhhhh!!. sorry
@dieselmac ...you mean, his butchering "live and let die?"
@dobbsgeorge Ha! Axle roads comes to mind.
Billy played the original piano on this for the Beatles
