This song totally jams! Sounds very live and off the cuff. Love it! And yet another great vocal delivery by Joel. This album has his best vocal work hands down. He really pulled out all the stops! Brilliant and so full of soul and spirit.

The story of the song has nothing to do with Christie (Lee) Brinkley. Billy just made it up. But he did use her name for the song and also used her nickname for him ("Joe") as a playful shout-out. He later would write a song about her called "That's Not Her Style".
