Billy Idol - Tomorrow People Lyrics
A time warp scene
A cy-fi story
A dirt coloured love
Hey hope for glory
I like to fight,
If I quit, no hope of redemption
Blue eyes crying in the rain
For how long
Tomorrow people
I laugh tomorrow gone
For how long
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people
Left behind my babe, by guilt of survival
I don't know where I'm runnin' to
I lost my love, lost my hold,
I lost my heaven too
Blue eyes crying in the rain
For how long
Tomorrow people
I laugh tomorrow gone
For how long
Tomorrow people
Blue eyes crying in the rain
For how long
Tomorrow people
I laugh tomorrow gone
For how long, soon come
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people
Yah come on loud
Now my life is truly misspent
I said
I'm here to tell you, to tell you
That I won't repent
World War III
Death pain
It's fate lets do it again
Tomorrow man
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow man
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow man
A time warp scene
A ci-fy story (Tomorrow people)
A dirt coloured sky (Tomorrow people)
New hope for glory
I like to fight
I kill global oppression
(Tomorrow people)
When I quit, new hope for redemption
(Tomorrow people)
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Tomorrow people
I laugh tomorrow gone
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people
Tomorrow people

Reminds me of Shout.
Set that chrome on fire, steel angel.
IT SOUNDS IN MONO!!!! PLEASE UPLOAD IT STEREO OR DELETE IT. THANKS
I don't look at the sun.
you don't moon at the moon
People need to realize this album kicks ass. Don't like? Piss off.
over produced..
My father bought it in 1993, and in was listen to it again and again when i was a child. Now we are the Tomorrow people
the First time I heard Cyberpunk in its Entirety I was Blown Away, Billy Idol had Transformed into a True Musical Genius... He reached a New Level with this Conceptual Futuristic Punk Album and I could NEVER understand why Critics nor His Fans didn't Embrace this as His BEST Work Ever !!!
Agreed! Absolutely!
If front 242 or NIN released this it would have been hailed as visionary.
I saw him in concert in 91 this dude was bad ass rock faith no more opened they were just as bad ass
24 years after and still rocking so good...
JMHO but nearly every track on this LP could have been a hit if the "aura" of grunge had not been oversaturated.
Saw him on this tour and he was pretty good.
I smoked some dynamite weed back in the 90's.
I just hit a dab and this song is an amazing trip
Awesome album, I use to listen often and very nice time memories, still great underrated album but amazings songs
this was the first CD i had ever bought when i was 12... i could never understand why this album got so underrated.
It's mostly brilliant!
Maybe it's because this song was before his time.
its time.
this is by far my favorite Billy Idol album (CD)
Hey, that was my first album too, and I was 12 then, too!
Brilliant album!
It is an awesome album it was out at a time when everyone was to into Grunge and Rap.
I still think it was an awesome album.
Best album of Billy all the fukin' way !!
lots of thanks to William Gibson....
This came out in the same year that The Crow was released. Now consider how well it compares against industrial music fabricated since.
Tomorrow I wish. If you wish. You'll wish.
Should be re-released today as though it was a new album! With proper promotion I think it would be a hit!
(= Really unordinary music, single album theme
THE BEST!
Agreed.
f*cking great album, as others have said way ahead of its time, and how many so called "artists" of today have ripped him off,
They couldn`t see past the whole rocker image. Closed-minded people. They act like in order to put out real critically acclaimed, conceptual and experimental work you couldn`t come from the punk-rock era.
oh dont cry billy i love you.
I HAVE THIS ALBUM AND ALTHOUGHT I THINK BILLY MADE A MISSTEP OR TWO WITH IT ON THE WHOLE I THINK ITS =PRETTY GOO.
@zimmerface Critics (not "people") hatED the album because at the time Billy Idol was (albeit superficially) associated with a lot of the crappy music of the late eighties; most people didn't really listen to his best music and thought he belonged with the likes of KISS, Motley Crue and Warrant. The idea that he could have done something innovative was anathema to critics. Also critics didn't like Billy because he was really drugged out at the time, and pulled stunts during interviews.
great album - and years ahead!
Is it to hard for someone to say this is a great musical experience!?
F the critics who usually don't know diddly about what goes into music creation. This album was ahead of its time.
Where the fuck is his 10.000.000.000 views video?
Wait til' tommorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this album. I used to rock it out in my stereo system in my car all the times. Like others have said... way ahead of it's time. If you were looking for classic Billy Idol then this was definitely not the album for you.
I really love this album people say it's not good enough but i see that this one of billy idol's best albums really
People were into that grunge and gangsa-rap shit back in 93'. Pop-nazis are always forcing their treads onto people that have a right to listen to what they want. Pop-nazis want to make fleeting treads law that everyone should like them.
I love this album: it does go great with comic books!!! This album is old-skool CYBER-GOTH before it had it's own category!!! Cherish this album all you want: this is our right!!! BILLY IDOL RULES!!!
I was thinkling the same thing!!!! Everytime I hear this song I remember reading a wolverine story where he is fighting Cyber.
this song could easily find its way to the "blade runner " soundtrack . CYBERPUNK album rocks !!!!!!!!
Awesome thanks!! one of my favs off this album. but the number one for me is Neuromancer!! thanks again! -UW
