If there was anyone in the world that could possibly at some point do a reunion tour with Soundgarden, and do Chris's vocals justice, it would be Ian Thornley. I've been a fan of Big Wreck for a couple of years now, and this dude is the real deal.

Only 25 comments on this MASTERPIECE?!?!?! Ok, let me settle the ‘it sounds like..’ debate. Clearly our boys in BW listened to their fair share of the Coop in their youth. This is dripping with the tight nasal Wah pedal work of many of the solos on Welcome To My Nightmare, ad well as other albums from around that time in Alice’s career. I also detect a similar song theme parallel to those works. The dissonant guitar line seriously influenced by.. ‘Steven’. I’m just amazed how one minute he’s conjuring Steve Hunter and the next Billy Gibbons. These guys are proof our media system is dysfunctional when a band with these singing, songwriting, and virtuoso playing and composition talents are completely unknown after almost 20 years now too if I’m not mistaken. Anyway, rant over.. listening to the song again for me.. 5th time tonight?! Lol!!

The end progression reminds me of " I want you " from the Beatles anyone else now that I mentioned it ???

This is a trip. They never stop making great music. Reminds me of another band, that happened to open for DreamTheater, called Big Elf. Their whole sound is like this.

Look What I Found... memories of a fantastic day!! Do y'all remember That Song?? They were all so young & sweaty. I had to say a Prayer. The concert was, Blown Wide Open by their stellar performance! Writing this out, I feel like The Oaf. My mind has taken a Fall Through the Cracks. But How Would You Know? I'm just out here, living my life Under the Lighthouse, in good ol' Canada. Don't wanna be Overemphasizing the size of the music festival that year. It was out doors, but there were severe thunder & lightning storms _all_ weekend. The festival was cancelled & uncancelled, most bands in the line up didn't show or cancelled altogether. NOT Big Wreck though!! It was AMAZING & I'll love them forever because they rocked out.
So glad that Big Wreck is still rocking out. Giving us fans, some new songs to jam too. Oh My, I can't wait to see them again soon.
