Biffy Clyro - All The Way Down (Chapter 2) Lyrics

It sat beside his bed as near as it could go
He read it every night just before he'd go
Asleep for the night with his dreams it'd fight, God save his soul
His mum would say, "no, don't be afraid son, there's no way you'll go"
All the way down. All the way down. All the way down. All the way down

His mom would tell him read it and you'll be alright
He took it's every word and made it his life
All the way down. All the way down. All the way down. All the way down

He never stood a chance when he's caught up in the night
He never thought he'd ever make it out of the light now

How did part 2 end up on an earlier album than part 1?

    S.... M....

Let's just say that part 1 is a prequel

  3. F.... d....

i had a totally different version of this b side, that didnt have the bridge in the middle part either.. great!

    F.... d....

theres one version with reggae! I think this ones the best though!

  4. R.... L....

    That freaking angelic chorus tho

  5. O.... N....

    I often wonder that too.

  6. C.... ....

Brilliant B-Side, how did this not make the cut?

I think because the other songs suited the album better. But if I were iffy back in the day, I would have just released a double blackened sky album. This was 5 years ago your comment and yet 5 years later you realise my comment is still relevant because this music is timeless and classic unlike the watered down pop bullshit and new music some of the bands play these days! lol

@Alf Uckem Biffy Clyro are amazing! I've known them since 2011 when I heard Only Revolutions as a 16 year old. Then in 2017 I checked them out thoroughly and now I've just found out about their first three albums and I finally understand the "new Biffy sucks" people.. I mean.. if I loved Puzzle with all my being back then, you can imagine how great it feels for me to listen to their first three albums for the first time. It's like 1979 by the Smashing Pumps spawned 30 songs by itself and I'm on cloud 9, listening to them all.
