Beyonce - Freedom Lyrics
[Beyoncé:]
Tryna reign, tryna rain on the thunder
Tell the storm I'm new
I'ma walk, I'ma march on the regular
Painting white flags blue
Running blind in truth
I'ma rain, I'ma reign on this bitter love
Tell the sweet I'm new
I'm telling these tears, "Gonna fall away, fall away"
May the last one burn into flames
Freedom! Freedom! I can't move
Freedom, cut me loose!
Freedom! Freedom! Where are you?
I break chains all by myself
Won't let my freedom rot in hell
Hey! I'ma keep running
'Cause a winner don't quit on themselves
I'ma wade, I'ma wave through the waters
'Til the tide, "Don't move"
I'ma riot, I'ma riot through your borders
Call me bullet proof
Lord forgive me, I've been runnin'
Runnin' blind in truth
I'ma wade, I'ma wave through your shallow love
Tell the deep I'm new
I'm telling these tears, "Gonna fall away, fall away"
May the last one burn into flames
Freedom! Freedom! I can't move
Freedom, cut me loose!
Freedom! Freedom! Where are you?
'Cause I need freedom too!
I break chains all by myself
Won't let my freedom rot in hell
Hey! I'ma keep running
'Cause a winner don't quit on themselves
[Kendrick Lamar:]
Ten Hail Marys, I meditate for practice (One, two)
Channel 9 news tell me I'm movin' backwards
Eight blacks left, death is around the corner
Seven misleadin' statements by my persona
Six headlights wavin' in my direction
Come on
Five-O askin' me what's in my possession
Yeah, I keep runnin', jump in the aqua ducts
Fire hydrants and hazardous
Smoke alarms on the back of us
But, mama, don't cry for me, ride for me
Try for me, live for me
Breathe for me, sing for me
Honesty guidin' me
I can be me more than I gotta be
Stole from me, lied to me, nation hypocrisy
Cold on me, driving me
Wicked, my spirit inspired me
Like yeah
Open correctional gates in high deserts
Yeah, open our mind as we cast away oppression
Yeah, open the streets and watch our beliefs
And when they carve my name inside the concrete
I pray it forever reads
[Beyoncé:]
Freedom! Freedom! I can't move
Freedom, cut me loose!
Freedom! Freedom! Where are you?
'Cause I need freedom too!
I break chains all by myself
Won't let my freedom rot in hell
Hey! I'ma keep running
'Cause a winner don't quit on themselves
[Kendrick Lamar:]
What you want from me?
Is it true you see, uh? Oh, father, can you hear me?
What you want from me?
Is it true you see, uh? Oh, father, can you hear me?
Hear me?
[Hattie White:]
I had my ups and downs, but I always find the inner strength to pull myself up. I was served lemons, but I made lemonade

Isaiah 54:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Do you believe in spiritual guidance?
I went to a drug store on my bicycle to buy water and I look like a homeless person because my hair was tied up and I was just in jeans shorts and a tank top that didn’t match. I sat outside for a minute after going in by my water. I just left the dollar store prior and bought some art supplies and candles to do my spiritual work and cleaning products. I was walking over to the sidewalk to smoke a cigarette before I was going to get on my bike and drive home. My bicycle is a pink breast cancer awareness bicycle I am proud that 10% goes to breast cancer awareness. I bought two botles of water and I was thinking of how much I had to hold and I was thinking of giving one of my bottles of water away to someone and then I realized that noone would take water from a stranger. This lady walks by and I assume that she thinks that I’m homeless I say hi to her and she ignores me.I said wow out loud because I am self-aware and I have this burning spirit I cannot hold inside sometimes. I became self-conscience and I threw away one of my buy one get one free water bottles because I had too much stuff to carry home with me on my bicycle and I was trying to lighten my load and I started becoming very paranoid. I started becoming afraid of homeless so I made my load lighter. Just then this lady walks by me she’s very frail and looks like she’s in her late 50s. I immediately saw that she’s had a tough life. She had a smile on her face and in my minds eye she knew that she heard me say wow and she was in tune with what happened in that conversation with me and the drug store emoloyee a moment before. To me, the second women looked in my clear plastic container so she could clearly see that I had candles and I had paints in there and that I was not homeless as the first lady had assumed so I friended her in my mind. I leaned back on the wall on the sidewalk at the drugstore and I lit my cigarette. I began to comtemplate about all the things that we go through and how people are mistreated and how we lack understanding and compassion.
Then I began to think about Veterans. Tomorrow is July 4. I began to think about PTSD. I began to think about all of the things that our soldiers must suffer because of what they have been through being that they are trained in fear which that prepares them for war which in turn causes many of them to develop PTSD and that the fear that they are trained in ruins their many of their lives. Many are unaware of it when they sign up. Right at that moment this older man I will guess in his late 60's walks by me next and he has on a white collar t-shirt with red white and blue star and stripe trim. I re-decorated my room yesterday and I hung an American flag in it because I’ve been thinking about how I want my own freedom with my own mental illness and how I feel trapped and I’m sitting asylum within myself and I want my independence to live on my own. The gentleman that walks by me with his red white and blue color t-shirt I told him I like your t-shirt and he said "sorry?" I said I like your t-shirt he said I wear it all the time and my curiousity peeked and I asked, are you a vet? And he said, "yes I am." and I said thank you for your service. He said "thank you" to me which shocked me because he did not owe me one. Afterwords, I thought of a cool game to play every July 4 that is, see many vets we can we say thank you to every year for their service and protection and every time we meet one take a drink.
After a short pause, my new alliance comes out with a cart of 24 bottles of water as I’m smoking on my cigarette and I hold it down so she can walk by. I noticed that she’s having trouble putting it in her car and I asked if she’d like some help. She says no thank you sweetie thanks for offering. As she walks by I start up a conversation and one thing leads to another and we begin to tell me that she has pancreatic cancer and she says she is embarrassed to be out in public because people probably think she is an alcoholic. I tell her that people are you going to talk about you if you’re skinny if you’re fat if you’re short if you’re tall it doesn’t matter they’re going to find something to talk about. She tells me that she has cancer polyps in her pancreas and she can’t stop using the bathroom and that's why she's very frail. She tells me that she has stress because her father is giving her a hard time. The situation she’s described to me are classic Narcissistic traits. People begin to make comments as they walk by and I don’t pay them any attention. Drug store employees come out of the store and pretend to look at sometime across the street but are obviously eavesdropping in on our conversation. Why would I, a Schizoaffective, Bipolar 1, PTSD, Domestic Abuse Survivor not pay them any attention?
Because me and this lady are speaking the truth. I’m giving her all of the wonderful advice and experiences that I have been given to me from my angels and I advise her to submit bless and the pain from the world release. #starpeoplegang. #submitblessrelease. I have been blessed in my life with my family and friends and I pray that she finds her own inner peace and that the conversation we had helps heal our body mind and soul. 🙌🏻🦋🌷

Here on Juneteenth Day! <3
Break my chains.
The ones that shackle my ankles and cause my back to bleed.
Turn your head to hear me sing from my belly.
You applaud, but I do not smile.
My performance is not over.
The life that once gave me strength I sang out my lungs.
The uterus that bore your children is whipped... with longing.
You can stand.... but the show is still going.
Catch me and my dance team dancing to this on the news for Juneteenth
Finally

Oh, Father, can you hear me?

"I had my ups and downs

This song always gets me hyped. I always listen to it before I run my 200 meter dash.
