Better Than Ezra - One More Murder Lyrics
ONE MORE MURDER IN THIS TOWN,
DON'T MEAN A THING JUST LOCK YOUR DOORS
AND DRIVE AROUND.
ONE MORE MURDER IN THIS TOWN,
WASH THE CHALK MARKS FROM THE GROUND.
SATURDAY NIGHT, SHOTS RING OUT,
ADD ONE TO THE BODY COUNT.
YOU COME ALIVE TO SEE ANOTHER'S END.
PLEAD IT TO A LESSER COUNT,
D.A. SAYS WITHOUT A DOUBT,
IN 3-5 YOU'RE ON THE STREETS AGAIN.
DON'T MEAN A THING
YOU GET ACCUSTOMED TO THE SOUND
ONE MORE MURDER IN THIS TOWN
BLOCK OFF THE STREET AND
WRAP THE CRIME SCENE TAPE AROUND.
HOSANNA! HOSANNA!
I CAN'T FEEL A THING AT ALL!
HOSANNA! HOSANNA!
I CAN'T FEEL A THING!
I CAN'T FEEL A THING AT ALL!
SATURDAY NIGHT YOU'RE GOING OUT
PARKING LOT, A FIGURE COME ABOUT
FEEL A PIECE CLICK AGAINST YOUR HEAD.
PLEADING TO HIS SYMPATHY,
"TAKE THE CAR, I GOT A FAMILY"
YOU HEAR A LAUGH,
"IT DON'T MEAN SHIT TO ME."
ONE MORE MURDER IN THIS TOWN

Better Than Ezra One More Murder Comments
Watching this as an OPN fan is weird
The intro sounds like Black Snow
The name of the band is Better than Ezra
Ezra is a song by OPN
A song from his album Garden of Delete
And the name of this album is "How Does Your Garden Grow"?
Have loved this for years but forgotten about it. Just happened to be watching Charmed on telly and this comes on. Now it's on my playlist😊👌🏻
The ''How to get away with murder'' series should have had this song!! I wonder how they missed it.
very good song
This is Las Vegas
Have To thanks Charmed for sharing good music like this
I love this song and I remember the episode this song was in. :)
More like One more Mulder, Am I right guys?!
Charmed ✨
Отличный трек! Очень гармонично и здорово!
This makes me feel quite nostalgic, though the first time I ever listened to it was last year. I guess it's just the overall sound that makes me think of the past. Great song.
X-Files
Charmed anyone?
MrBibi86
Well Baltimore is known as Charm City
!!!! Binge watching it right now.

Was Crystal Method Keep Hope Alive for theme. This was used on Homicide: Life on the Streets in Homicide.com where Bayliss’s character was semi outed as BI
A quite grim but fantastic song!
Love the lyrics - Homicide: Life on the Street
Homicide - Life on the Streets
Vanitas one of the few shows the networks have actually supported despite ratings. The “Movie” they did to try and wrap the series really did a disservice to it though. The Vincent D’onfrio episode still freaks me anytime in a city with subways
Didn't know this was from a soundtrack. Worked in the mall as a kid & we had CD's that only played albums provided by the company. This was a track on one of them & always dug the song.
Actually brought a tear to my eye. I miss my teen years in the 90s... growing old is shit! We actually did shit instead of stare at our phones.
+Timmy D I tend to agree Timmy, I used to go skindiving for four hours straight, come home cook a bbq then drink a beer while watching the X Files......ahhhh ! I love this song too.
all time fave. the vibe is like nothing else.
Great song from the first X-Files movie soundtrack. Cannot wait for The X-Files 6 part episodes in January 2016. "The Truth Is Still Out There!"
un altro omicidio in questa città...certo ci penso spesso
The piano riff at the beginning of this song I swear I have heard it on another song with a woman singer has anyone else heard that song?
I know what you mean, it sounds like something Tori Amos would do, definitely a 90s kind of sound.
@Helium Road Exactly what I thought...Tori Amos. 'Cornflake Girl',I thought of
Funny thing about Charmed was that the theme was a Smiths song from the early 80s, but it fit the 90s perfectly.
Spit Love Spit played the Charmed version which was actually on The Craft first. Aaron Spelling stole the idea of 3 witch sisters with How Soon Is Now as the theme song from the writer of The Craft
I remember always thinking he sounded like a young Bono from U2. Fark i mess the 90s... We were not totally consumed by the internet back then and had lives :P
I always think the same thing about his voice! :)
Homicide.com
Belmondo993 best show ever
it reminds me of Charmed when it first came out !!!! DAMN i miss the 90's !
Deandre Flowers that's where I heard it from
Same here
I don't know shit about X-Files, I just know I love Better Than Ezra and this is their best track 100%.
I used to work at music venues/night clubs back years ago and I found the X-Files Soundtrack in the promotional bin and have been rocking it for years. I noticed Chris Carter was listed as a producer and was wondering if he had any part in the haunting cohesion between the songs on this album. Listen to the Filter and the Cardigans tracks if you haven't heard them.
Allow me to nitpick for a second. It wasn't the X-Files Soundtrack but rather The X-Files: The Album. I wouldn't care except that at the time I had requested the X-Files soundtrack for my birthday or some holiday, expecting this album, and instead I got the Mark Snow original motion picture soundtrack. Interesting music, but far from what I was hoping for. I bought The Album myself a few weeks later and listened repeatedly. It really was a unique experience. Unfortunately to this day I don't think I've ever fully made sense of Carter's questionable explanation of the story at the very end of the disc.
As to your question, I think I vaguely recall an interview with Carter about the album in which he said he reached out to the various artists to contribute to the album. I doubt he provided feedback or requested changes, but I do think he expressed his vision to the artists when inviting them.

Damn I never get sick of that INCREDIBLE X-Files soundtrack. I wanna go back and relive the 90's for a century.
