Better Oblivion Community Center - Service Road Lyrics

You should really call your brother
Someone put up a picture where he can't stand
Was holding onto the table
Probably throwing darts or playing cards
Something that he lost made him so mad
Always said it didn't matter
With a pile of filth he coins clenched in his hands
Asking strangers to forgive him
But he never told him what it is he did to them that made him feel so bad

Say what you mean and say it now
Don't state your name, that doesn't count

Who are you?
Who are you...
...looking for?

Thought that he was doing better
A notice, final eviction, he just laughed
Always had a sense of humor
We still joked 'til the bitter end
While all those steps he made can't walk them back

In and out of indecision
In and out of any options he once had
Farewell, so long
'Til the trouble that you made and hate is gone

Say what you mean and say it now
Don't throw a fit, quit acting out

Who are you?
Who are you...
...waiting for?

Just go out into the falling snow
Just go toward the light in the skylight
Just go past the trucks on the service road
Just go until you feel different

Kina reminds me of a Jackson Browne song.
Reminds me of my niece/daughter. She died from septic shock.
    Using dirty needles.
She was like that, she was really funny, and fun to be with.
    She was 23.

The part about "final eviction" reminds me of my niece/daughter.
Once she called me and told me she was being evicted. She needed 1200 bucks for back rent.
I gave her some shit about it and told her I would come over and see 3her. I saw her and gave her the money.
2 days later, she called and said she lost the money. She said she needed 1800 bucks. I thought to myself that she had a lot of nerve.
I gave her some more shit and I
told her I would come over to
    see her.
I gave her the money and dhe got a check made at the bank.
When she saw her landlord, the landlord wrote a receipt and kept the receipt and gave her the check back.
I saw what happened in the rear view mirror. She came back to the car and the landlord came running over to her to get the check . She started laughing and told him , " you forgot to say please". It was really funny.
She died from Septic Shock . Last Labor Day I had to turn her life support off. She got it from using dirty needles. This song reminds me of her. She was really funny and a lot of fun. And she had a lot of sadness in her. She was 23 yrs. old.
