I believe he is trying to tell the story of how Africans used to rule with stability and care for their people. Nowadays we have gangs led by African Americans. African Americans are still waiting on God to descend from his position in the sky and change their life for them, instead of doing something positive with their life and attempting to better their situation. This goes for other races too but Jarren Benton clearly portrays the issues and even stereotypes people himself. You can't go out and see another nigga and trust him anymore. Back in Africa you knew everyone in your tribe/village and trusted them no matter what. But that's gone in today's society in gang driven cities
