I put this song on play when we was on our way to somewhere (i dont remember) he was singing that line "thats alright honey". I was surprised that i thought he knew this song but he said he can sing any lyrics that on repeat. I guess i miss him everytime im listening to this song and wish that we have more time.

a year ago when I met this girl who came out of nowhere, I literally thought"well you're fucked now" .I came across this comment,thought to myself "take the leap dude if it doesn't work then it won't.".We started out as friends like everyone does,then it shifted to flirting after a couple of months.We were doing everything together and it seemed like she enjoyed being around me maybe even liked me.I was either gonna tell her right there or wait for the prom to tell her -which is the end of the year (a month ago)- how I felt and how she makes me feel like everything's gonna be alright.She meant so fucking much to me.I've been depressed since I've known myself or aware of what's going on in this world.Then a year ago she just came into my life and I swear to god I knew she was something else right at that moment.But it didn't work out at the end...
Turns out she likes someone else..When I heard this I just freezed and started humming words by Bon Iver's re:stacks "this is pouring rain,this is paralyzed." then just walked away from her..I just wanted to let you guys know,to anyone who reads these things.Maybe even 10 years from now someone else will discover this beautiful song and scroll through the comments and come across the advices you guys gave.Whoever's reading this.It's worth it.I enjoyed a full year with her even though it didn't end well..I have such great memories about us and it does hurt. I've got a new girlfriend and this line is so damn applicable to her, from what she's told me.

Unrequited love... so you think. When you love someone and hold back for so long, thinking they don't share the feelings. And finally find out too late, far too late, that they too had feelings for you. That's what this song takes me back to. The pain of knowing that there was bliss just beyond the pain. That for 5 years there was sanctuary and respite waiting, but you lost it because you didn't take action in that moment. There's no regret now, but a memory of pain that will never go away.
